A few years ago Aaron Chilen and I took a trip with a few friends from Los Angeles back towards our home states, Aaron's being Kansas, mine being Iowa. The trip was the first of what would become an annual trip, one time of the year we would dedicate to organizing some sort of creative endeavor as free from professional bounds as possible.
We would like to do the trip again and are trying Kickstarter out as an experiment to alternatively fund a trip/documentary/photobook as well as an attempt to get the people out there more closely involved with the trip through the donations listed to the right. We thought it'd be a rad idea to figure out someway that people unable to go on the trip would still, even in the smallest way, be apart of the trip. Have one of your favorite skaters throw you a shout out on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Submit your footage to be edited into a Supporters Montage to be put in the bonus section of the DVD.
For as little as $5 you can have a digital download of the video. $15 a hard copy of the DVD, $50 a copy of the photobook or $60 a copy of both. There's tons to choose from, so take a look at them all.
We're open to any suggestions whether it be city stops or a donation reward not listed. If you want to get involved do it, just send us a message and we'll figure out how.
