Welcome to Little voices in my head,
A 2D psychology-horror game with a deep story, original mechanics and a dark atmosphere.
"Do you trust your reality? That’s the question the new psychological horror game Little Voices In My Head is going to be asking you. Designed to make you feel uneasy from the get go, this Silent Hill inspired 2D horror title will have you questioning everything you see and hear."
Divided into multiple chapters, little voices in my head have been made to transmit to the player strong emotions.
Will you keep your feet into reality or will you fall into insanity ?
The game will be available on PC, MAC and LINUX, in english and later in multi-language. (See Stretch Goals)
You'll have to investigate about recent murders that have started since the arrival of a new laboratory named, 'Genethic, for a better tomorrow' in your city. You will play multiple characters from victim to private investigator.
You'll discover that even stronger people can fall into insanity. Survive and try to find the truth or fall into despair.
The full game will contain three chapters and will be about genetics experiments, mental illness, reality and nightmares!

Chapter one is an introduction to Little voices in my head.
Chapter two is the main story, and will be semi open world. You'll have crucial decisions to take as private investigator.
Chapter three will be revealed after the end of the chapter two.
Little Voices In My Head Aims to Play Tricks On You!
Little voices in my head is centered on the psychology, the fear of the unknown and mixted between reality and hallucination.
That's why the game was done in order to add some original mechanics, adding anxiety, oppression to the player.
Like you see on the screenshot you have 2 gauge, The first one show your sanity level while the second one show the flashlight battery.
Let's see how it works!
You won't survive without light. You must strategically use your flashlight batteries to always have a light source.
You'll have to search around places you explore to find new ones.
It is important to keep the battery meter at a correct level, as the flashlight's fuse is more or less powerful depending of the gauge.
You will not see in the darkest areas if it is almost empty, no light, no hope!
If you allow your Battery meter to completed deplete, your sanity will also diminish and and you will witness a terrible fate
Some hearing and visual hallucinations will begin to appear and will change your perception of the surroundings.
It will therefore be necessary to go in search of medicine to raise the mental health meter.
An empty sanity gauge mean death.
The game lets you decide important choices full of consequence.
Of course, all these choices trigger different ends and will unlock new events.
This is a good way to discover new secrets and learn more about the story.
In chapter 2, game will become semi open world and you'll can go back in some area, buy some gears and talk with peoples around about the investigation.
Depending on your progress in the story, some things may change in certain places, new peoples will appear, and you will be able to go even further in the game.
I'm Constantin (call me Doon!) and i'm an indie game developer. I am 27 years old. I love discover new games, teach to others tricks about game developement. Before starting my owns games, i created some mods for fonline ( fonline engine, fallout 1 + 2 mmorpg version). Beside that i have skills in web developement too. My favorite game genre are Horror games (Yes, i'm a fanboy of silent hill) and Role playing games. So I love games, i make games!
Little voices in my head is born of a desire to make the players feel certain emotions, like fear, anxiety and a feeling of perdition.
Because i like games like silent hill, resident evil and some other, you will find some wink, inspirations.
There are several reasons. First, I started kickstarter in order to speed up the process of creating little voices in my head and also improve certain things, mainly graphics such as artworks.
Of course the development of the game also takes a lot of time, the kickstarter will allow me to stay focused on it, but also to extend its story and improve some mechanics of the game.
Secondly, I think Kickstarter is a chance to create a comunity around Little Voices in my head, to have feedback and maybe even new ideas.
The release date of the game is set in June / July 2018, but you will have access after the end of the kickstarter to Chapter 1, which is an introduction.
The PC, MAC, and Linux versions will be available immediately. The game will be first in English but other languages will be added.

Risks and challenges
Little voices in my head is already well advanced, the main challenge is that I am the only one to work on it.
It is 1 years since I develop little voices in my head so the only risk will be a big health problem for, at worst delaying development.
As I said earlier the mechanics of games are already established and the story is written on paper, but thanks to you I will be able to improve the game, continue the story and especially give it life.
I will do my best to give you the best game experience possible.
