After today, there are 14 days left in our campaign, making this the rough halfway mark.
We showed off one of our planned expansions of Geek Crash Course last night with a live Google Hangout on Air answering some viewers' Geek Crash Questions (including live questions from Twitter and YouTube). There were some small glitches, but it proved the viability of a live move for fan interaction, and it's definitely something we'd like to do on a more regular basis if we meet our goal. Check it out:
While today is our halfway mark time-wise, we're still $72 from the halfway mark of our Kickstarter goal. That's just 3 $25 donations away from the half.
Part of the Kickstarter earnings will go to better sound equipment so that the sound in (hopeful) future Geek Crash Questions Hangouts is better.
Also, if you're a podcast fan, Michael made a guest appearance on Trek.fm's The Observation Lounge to talk about Skyfall, which is available now on iTunes!
Tonight, Michael and Diana make their second foray into the live Hangout on Air as part of a panel of web creators talking about promoting their shows through social media. You can find the Facebook event for that HERE.
Thanks to all of you who have donated!
To those of you who have waited, DON'T HOLD BACK. We need your backing to make our goal. Without your help, Geek Crash Course won't be able to keep running.
We'll be posting a second backer-exclusive this Friday that'll show a bit of behind-the-scenes work involving our plan to revamp the stat cards. Back us to see what we have planned!
Thanks again and keep on geeking!
