About

Rise of the Wolf is a fantasy board game that uses strategy, skill, and team work!

Rise of the Wolf is a 2-4 player game. The game takes around 2-4 hours to finish,

Work together to save the town of Ronark!

  • Guardian is the class who can take a beating, they have upgrades along the way to increase the amount of damage intake. Though they are stout they do not do a lot of damage.
  • Armsman is the class who can take a punch, also put out some damage. They have upgrades to do more damage and take more damage, though they will never be able to take as much as a Guardian or do as much damage as a Hunter.
  • Swordsman is a class that can do quite a bit of damage, they get upgrades along the way to do more. They can take more of a beating then the Hunter but not as much as the Guardian or the Armsman.
  • Hunter is the class that does the most damage.Though they can not take damage, there stealthy range class allows them to avoid most damage.

Whats the objective of Rise of the Wolf?

Starting the game, you have a game quest card. You have to find three pieces to cure Wolvin. Once you find all three, you can continue to Wolvin and try and cure him.

How do we complete quests and kill monsters?

To receive a quest, you must land on the Adventure Squares, the light grey squares on the game board. Although these squares can give you quests, they also have traps and monsters waiting to attack.

You are allowed to hold up to 6 cards of any kind, not including your class card. If you have cards with quests that are not complete, they are considered Quest Cards. Once you complete the quests they become Hero Cards.

Boss Loot cards are considered Hero Cards as well, and they are won by killing monsters. Once a monster is killed, the people who killed the monster can roll on one Boss Loot card. Whoever has the highest roll wins the item.

Town Cards are considered Hero Cards also. Town cards usually have utility features that help your team. When using a Utility Card, it can be used at anytime without losing a turn.

  • You must have someone on the dark red square in order to engage or be attacked by a monster.
  • To kill a monster, you keep taking turns as you would if you were moving on the board. When it is your turn to attack, simply deduct your amount of damage output (damage done to the monster) from the monsters health, then roll a dice to see how much damage input (damage from monster to yourself) you will receive. If you are on a X2 square and roll a 6, that means you where hit with 12 damage input.
  • If the person on the dark red square dies, someone must take that spot. This will not take a turn.
  • After death, you have to start over from the town. Also you have to discard 3 hero cards from your pile.
  • You can get quests from Adventure Squares. These squares are light grey. Sometimes, instead of a quest, you might encounter a trap.

With the game you will receive -

Risks and challenges

As far as Risks go, there aren't many. We HAVE the game created already. No matter what happens, if you're promised a game, you will receive it! The challenge would be to find the most cost efficient way to make the game, and at a high quality!
