New York Times Magazine Cover Story

Good morning, Kickstarters!

Many of you may have already read it, but if not, our protagonist Steve Wise is the subject of today's cover story in the New York Times Magazine. The article is written by Charles Siebert, who accompanied us on many of our film shoots, and Chris is mentioned at the start of the story.

Our Kickstarter campaign had an incredibly exciting week, too. The Tribeca Film Institute did an interview with us, and Film School Rejects posted this very nice article. Our campaign also had some help from our friends The National, who shared our Kickstarter video on their Facebook, and who contributed 5 signed vinyls to our campaign that sold out instantly.

So far we have raised $17,342, about 20% of our goal, and our campaign video is continuing to make its way around the internet. Much of the credit for this goes to you -- both your generous contributions and the amazing efforts you've made to share our story. According to Kickstarter, over 50% of the money we've raised has come from referrals, meaning that your friends and colleagues are clicking on those links you've sent them.

We're hoping to pass the $25,000 mark this week, and we need your help to do it. Please continue to share our campaign link (http://kck.st/1i8IYtM) and updates about the film.

Thank you again for all your support, and here's to another busy week!

- Chris and Penny
