Dear Valued Kickstarter Customers,
My apologies for not updating you recently, we needed to be certain as to what the current status of the chair of the chair was, so that we did not give you inaccurate information. Many of you will be delighted to know that your chair is now on its way/arrived and if so you will have been contacted to this effect.
There will also be many of you that will not be pleased that you have to wait even longer for your chair. The reason why the remaining Kickstarter customers must wait for another few months, is that, as a business we need to generate income by turning some of our current stock in to revenue, in order to ensure a healthy company in the future. We will keep you updated but it is likely that the remaining Kickstarter customers will not receive their chair until September of this year. I realise that this is extremely frustrating for you, but would ask for understanding and offer thanks for bearing with us.
We are getting some favourable reports from those customers that have recently received their chair, but we are also learning that some customers are having difficulty in assembling the chair correctly, causing the spine to become loose. May I suggest that when you receive your chair you pay careful attention to both the video (https://vimeo.com/125803724) and the assembly instructions (http://freedmanchair.com/wp-content/uploads/pdfs/FREEDMAN_A5-instruction-booklet_low.pdf) and follow the instructions in an exact and precise manner.
Should you have experienced difficulty in assembling the chair and you have indeed experienced a problem, then please follow the 'dismantling and and reassembling instructions' (http://freedmanchair.com/wp-content/uploads/pdfs/FreedmanChair_Dismantling-and-reassembling.pdf) - again taking care to follow them in an exact and precise manner.

It’s been a long haul, but at long last, chairs are starting to ship out of the warehouse and will reach end users over the next few weeks!
I spent three days with the team at the warehouse last week checking the chairs - readying them for dispatch and I’ll be up there again today-it’s 3.30 am and I’m just about to hit the road.
The next stage of dispatching to the end users is fairly involved as we need to ensure the right colour, caster type etc. Jaynie and Helen were at the warehouse yesterday with the UPS guy going through all of this.
Some people will be delighted that their chair will finally arrive and unfortunately some of you will be understandably disappointed that yours isn’t in this batch. Not ideal I know, but with chairs finally coming out we are getting there.
It’s a fairly momentous stage in a long, long journey and we will continue to push as hard as we can to get everyone their chair as soon as possible, and let you know as soon as they are ready for dispatch.
