PURGE: Sins of Science Game Set features six unique decks of 50 cards each. Under license from Wizards of the Coast, PURGE players may meta-game customize each deck with future PURGE expansion cards and Stretch Goal Faction Upgrade Packs.
Representing each of the six decks is a specific Faction Commander with unique traits, strategies and abilities:

ABOUT THE GAME
Creating a no draw (zero variance) game design which could be properly balanced has been a three year long endeavor. Dozens of design changes, mechanics, vectors of play and even card types have been scrapped or modified to boil down an intuitive game-play style that closely matches modern day Console RTS games which require players to build energy & defensive structures, research technologies and unlock progressively powerful units & abilities.
The card template for PURGE: Sins of Science was developed to maximize the usage of our stunning illustrations and provide a cinematic feel to game play.
Game Play: Players have at their disposal three (3) decks (WAR, TEK & OPS) to choose cards from to play. No drawing or playing from a hand is required. Players simply search their decks to find the cards they wish to play as long as energy cost and technology requirements are satisfied.
Units: Units are turn un-lockable, meaning more potent units cannot enter battle until later in the game. Most units also have special abilities that are unlocked through certain technologies that give them an edge in combat.
OPS Cards: OPS cards are Commander specific cards that may be played at any point during the game as long as their energy and technology requirements are satisfied. As players field more technologies into play, more devastating OPS cards are unlocked.
Each turn is broken down into sub-phases. Players execute Actions during the turn in a back and forth manner. This dynamic playing system allows players to quickly respond and adapt to the ever shifting balance of power.
Vectors of play represent the physical movement of troops and is inherently associated with RTS style game-play. In PURGE, Units and Commanders may move freely among the various vectors of play. However, caution must be exercised as your opponent could easily ambush unguarded units or unleash devastating OPS cards which affect all caught within a target vector.
Energy, technology requirements and supply caps are all common themes found among most major RTS titles. Because most gamers will already have reasonable experience with RTS mechanics, learning PURGE rules and fundamentals will come naturally.
Battle Stats operate in a manner which resembles most RTS combat mechanics. Here, units and Commanders have a finite number of attacks, damage, armor and health which regenerate at the end of each turn. Because each stat can either be positively or negatively modified, the strategic possibilities for combat are endless.
PURGE: Sins of Science battle mechanics takes an intuitive and simplistic approach that allows players to make deep, strategic decisions that may prove critical to your specific strategy. Battle is performed in a back and forth manner with each player exercising a battle action until the conditions for battle resolution are met. Beware, OPS cards and powerful unlocked abilities may quickly turn the tide of battle.
Because the PURGE game design and RTS mechanics allow for many open ended possibilities, each game is truly unique and the options for flexible meta-game design are limitless.
PURGE is Earth Friendly
All paper used during the manufacture of PURGE: Sins of Science is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approved and contains approximately 15% post industrial recycled material.
Color dyes used in PURGE: Sins of Science are soy based and 100% chemical free.

Risks and challenges
PURGE: Sins of Science is fully developed and ready to be manufactured. The only challenges posed by this project are controlling logistical costs and shipment timing.
