Cookies Incorporated

I'm still humbled and thankful for all the support received through you, the Kickstarter community.   Since launching this campaign, Jereme and I both have received so many encouraging emails from fellow foodies and people all over the world who love what he's doing with dough and want to experience NYMC: Made by Dad via the dessert truck.

Here are a few things that have happened recently that I wanted you all to know about:

  • NYMC: Made by Dad is now an LLC and in the process of becoming one of the first Certified B Corps in Orange County, California!
  • Design of the dessert truck is under way.  Jereme is looking at refurbished vintage VW vans that can be fitted with a freezer and oven for fresh-baked cookies on site at any venue.
  • Jereme has provided cookies for the Disney Channel shows Jessie, A.N.T. Farm, and Austin & Aly.  Apparently the cookies are a hit with the cast and crew.

I've been asked by many people during the process, "How are you going to get a dessert truck with only $1000???"  We can't. Typical food trucks cost anywhere from $50,000 and up. Yikes!  Every recipe has some critical ingredients and this initial campaign was created to fund the incorporation, licensing and insuring of the business as well as beginning the initial design of a unique vehicle that is kid-friendly and economical.  VW buses are plentiful here in SoCal so he's optimistic about finding a great vehicle.

Thank you again for being a part of Not Your Mama's Cookies: Made by Dad.

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who backed and promoted this initial campaign for Jereme Brixey and Not Your Mama's Cookies: Made by Dad's first dessert truck!  The funds from this first Kickstarter project will go towards licensing, insuring, and design.   Here we go!
