The Russian Empire
The Zar Питер V “The Great”, rules the Russian Empire with an Iron Fist. The Russian people lives oppressed but united in a common cause; assure the survival of their own. The military resources are mass produced in endless chains of industrial manufacture. The Great Wall of the Carpathians protects the west borders of the Russian Empire and the vast armies of the Zar keep the empire safe, subjugated and united. The air army is limited in the variety of aircrafts. The power of the Russian armies is the massive quantities of aircrafts that the Zar can deploy. The gameplay of the Russian army is based on the high number of its ranks to overwhelm and crush the enemy. The MS3 and the MS7 cover most of the needs any player would demand on any army, and you can flood the game board with them. The Black October is a hard hitter that provides heavy fire power to your vanguard. If you like big armies with lots of resources to overcome your enemies, the Russian Empire, is the perfect army for you.
- Archaic but precise, the Mikoyan Sukoil MS 3 is the basic aircraft from t he Russian's air force and by far the most abundant plane in Dark Skies.
- The MS 7 is a heavy version of the MS 3. Despite it has a bomber capacity, is a fighter as well.
- The Combat Frigate Black October is the standard command platform of the Russian army. The communication systems keep the vast Russian armies coordinated and its heavy cannons keep the enemies of the Zar far away from the Russian borders.
Our love for the antique warlike aviation made us pay serious tribute to certain air aces or manufacturers. Ace and Company names may sound familiar but we altered a little their names and story to adapt them to the Dark Skies universe.
