our to do list: 1) plan celebration happy hour at pause wine bar! (you will receive an invite via kickstarter, facebook, email or some other electronic format)  2) purchase equipment and wares for executing the most amazing fresh juice menu in san francisco  3) develop and test juice menu that will feature 3 year round basics, seasonal combinations and juice flights!  4)  invite friends, family and backers to taste the fruits of our mutual labor  5) invite everyone to experience a fresh take on fresh juice.

we will keep you posted on the happenings via kickstarter and our facebook page and soon i will get a self-opt in newsletter going for those who want to stay in the know.  we will also be inquiring about contact info for rewards real soon...

61% funded with less than 72 hours to go!

thursday afternoon thoughts on the brink of our kickstarter project deadline..

the idea for sōw came from an experience i had eating at a san francisco restaurant that offered a simple, organic fresh juice option.  i thought to myself, 'why isn't this an option on every menu?'  that was three years ago.  we had fits and starts, derek and i.  and then i saw fat, sick and nearly dead.  it reminded me of the power people have to change the lives of others by doing.  i recommend you watch it this weekend, especially if you're in san francisco where the forecast predicts more rain...  oh what a lovely, bountiful spring we have ahead of us :)

can't wait for you to taste it.

it's the final countdown!

dear friends,

it's crunch time!  after an exciting week of pledges and a pledge match of $1500 by a dear friend, we are at 55% of the funds we need in order to reach our goal and receive any of the funding pledged to date.

we are poised to start making delicious, organic juice in may or june if all goes well!  many heartfelt thanks to those of you who have been spreading the word and pledging your support for sōw.

5 days and counting!

12 days to go!!

dear friends,

we are thrilled and humbled by the generous pledges family and friends (both old and new) have made.  we are eager to source amazing produce and execute an outstanding juice menu showcasing locally sourced, seasonal organic produce.

announcing a pledge match!!

i am super excited to announce that a dear friend of mine has offered to MATCH contributions made starting tomorrow, wednesday 3/20/12 (spring equinox) through friday 3/23/12!!  if you want to increase your pledge or encourage others to make the most of theirs, we would be oh-so-grateful for any and all contributions this week - we want to make it past the 50% funded mark!

in other sōw news, we spent saturday morning at the ferry building farmer's market chatting with farmers, seeing what's fresh and are planning farm visits over the next couple of weeks.  it's tough to beat a morning spent surrounded by nature's bounty.  we can't wait to share the experience with you.
