Jumpman Forever Preview Launched!

For all the backers, and the press who've been asking for it, it's here - the Jumpman Forever Preview for Windows and Mac!  This isn't a full version - you can take a look at the version notes on the new Jumpman Forever page

I have to say, well, I'm exhausted.  While I would't consider it a finished game by any means (there's only 8 levels in this version, along with other stuff mentioned in the version notes if you want the full details), it feels good to do some of the mundane stuff on the project, and suddenly make it feel less like one of my prototypes, and more like a real game.

And, since I haven't posted any Work In Progress screenshots in a couple of days:

Yes, I really went through an unreasonable amount of effort to keep a retro style.  I mean, seriously, I couldn't find a font that matched the C64's "PLAYER 1" screen, so, I had some fun with creating something to make it feel a bit like it.

Three out of the five possible game options are available to play.  Speed Run and Advanced are blocked out, for now.  This replaces the old runspeed selection at the beginning of a level (or beginning of the game for Jumpman, Jr), but also acts as a way of throwing new gameplay in the mix.  Advanced gets more enemies (good luck with that!), and Speed Run gives Jumpman about twice as much oomph in his jumps (so you can clear lots of distance on the screen quickly)

So, from here on out, anyone who contributes to the Kickstarter gets a link and a password to download their own personal copy :-)
