Allison Segal is an author about to embark on a three-week tour to promote her memoir. Unfortunately, the memoir is a fabrication and the prim and tidy persona she created for herself is a lie. Over the three weeks of her tour, Allison unravels, revealing her authentic, damaged self to her fans and winding up with a new idea for a book. Also, there's a cabbage.

We are relying on the generosity of the improv comedy and independent film communities in New York and Los Angeles to make this short a reality. This is a unique little movie, a labor of love. We hope friends, family and fans will give something to this special project.
Risks and challenges
After this project is completed, the next major challenge we face will be the long and costly process of submitting this short to festivals. Festival submissions not only involve fees, but also the creation of press kits, posters and websites as well as the cost of hotels and airfare. This Kickstarter campaign only covers our production costs. The next hurdle will be seeing the short play on festival screens.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
