Pam and Gay Ghost - Short (Funny) Horror Film
Pam is haunted by Gay Ghost, who tries to make her over against her will. Pam asks him to leave, but he refuses. Pam hires an exorcist.
Chris Lemon and I have written and started filming a very funny film about Pam—a single woman in her thirties—and her unwanted housemate—Gay Ghost. Gay Ghost obnoxiously tries to make over frumpy Pam who resists his efforts. She believes her beauty exists within her and she "rejects any social construct that objectifies women." Gay Ghost persists leaving Pam few alternatives—she calls an exorcist to have him removed. Unfortunately for Gay Ghost, the exorcist is someone from his past who during this encounter decides to send him straight to hell.
Also on board is Charles Lynn Frost (known for his work as Sister Dottie S. Dixon) as a wicked exorcist who attempts to condemn Gay Ghost to hell, and David Luna as Gay Ghost's coke sniffing, cake stealing friend Dylon.
We're really good at working with a small budget, and with most of the scenes already in the can, our remaining production costs are minimal. But there is still plenty to pay for. The script calls for a couple of special effects, and we really need the extra funds to pull them off. We'll also use this money to pay for postproduction services like color correction and producing promotional materials.
A little more about our team... Chris and I wrote and produced (along with the fantastic David Luna) the award-winning Vapid Lovelies in 2008, and the three of us also worked together on the very funny "Baby Hungry" in 2011. Jack Stewart—who shot both "Vapid Lovelies" and "Baby Hungry"—is our cinematographer.

Risks and challenges
A lot can go wrong on a film project (technically and artistically), but I have a proven track record of completing high quality independent films. I'm extremely collaborative in my approach and have rarely run into problems with creative differences or interpersonal conflicts during a project. I'm an excellent problem solver both on set and in the editing room.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
