About this project
Minions War takes place in a world where giant people, called Masters, eternally fight each others. The Master of War has been kidnapped, so you'll be invited to take control of his Minions army to find him.
Things will not go that easy at beggining, because Minions won't trust you, a stranger, and obey your orders like you'd be one of them. You will have to train your habilities in battle, hunting, survival and tactical before being able to fight Masters and rescue Master of War.
That's all the purpose of Minions War, alternate hunting, farming, melee and distance fights and many other type of levels, with a gameplay remembering Patapon (but without rythm).
Minions War is very simple to play, but hard to master. Minions are basically autonomous, but fallow orders.
They can receive Team Orders :
- Walk forward : This order makes Minions move forward, regardless of what is happening around.
- Attack : This order forces Minions to spread and attack whatever target that reaches attacking range.
- Withdrawal : This order call all Minions to regroup at the back and protect theirselves, allowing better heal or protection skills.
They can also receive Class Orders.
As in Minions War, you can set up a fighting team by 3 classes at max, you will also be able to assign a class skill for each Class Order, so have a panel of 3 skills to manage on battle grounds.
Players will have to unlock different skills for each class, and chose the right skill for the right level. Team composition before each level will be a great part of strategy of Minions War.
Warriors are melee units. Dealing average damage through contact attacks, they have good defense and high HP.
Dealing average damage at high range, they are back units with low HP, essentially used for support.
Strong magical unit, with low HP, dealing great damage periodically.
Defensive unit with strong HP, dealing few damage but protecting other unit from enemy waves.
Holy unit that heals team, with few HP, very poor attack, but with abilities to enhance other units power.
Melee unit with better range, can also pierce defense of enemy, regardless of any shield. Better HP than warrior unit, but without shield.
Like an archer firing projectiles without curves, Shooters have low HP but high range damage.
Invoke creatures that fight for the team during short time.
Firing with canon and dealing area damage on enemies, with average HP and very slow movement.
Along your adventure in Minions War, Minions will learn to obey to your commands. It will be represented by learning techniques and abilities, through an addictive system of fighting/farming.
Each enemy defeated will drop some talents gems. Depending on the enemy strength, you will receive green, blue, purple or orange gems. Each gem matches a type of talent to unlock (passive, active skill, class unlocking... etc) so it will be some kind of hunting part of the game to find enemies who drops the gems you're looking for to enhance your team abilities.
Unlocking new skills and talents will help you for composing the best Minions Team for each battle, keeping in mind that classes behaviors won't match with some other...
In Minions War, you will discover lands that are deeply associated with its Master's behavior and looking.
Fighting Master of Ice will bring you to snow areas and make you encounter frozen enemies, and fighting Master of Jungle will bring you into forested places and encounter animals and plants.
Each Level got its proper system and you will have to manage units according to environmental factors.
Maybe you won't chose Wizard's Fire Skill if you're against fire dragons!

Risks and challenges
Creating that kind of game can be long but not so hard for us. We develop games for a long time, and are used to problems that occurs during development phase.
The only thing that matters is that if we say our game will be playable on July 2016, it will.
