About this project
MAXED OUT Update: As of Monday, October 24, we have reached our initial goal of $15,000!
But, we're not done yet...
As our campaign continues, each additional dollar raised will be used to make MAXED OUT look and feel every bit as professional as a Hollywood feature film.
So, please continue to promote the MAXED OUT page to friends and family today!
MAXED OUT: An R-Rated Comedy
Faced with a crumbling economy and dead-end jobs, two financially-strapped slackers open dozens of pre-approved credit cards and reinvent themselves – either finding happiness or bankruptcy. WEDDING CRASHERS and THE HANGOVER in tone.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Americans have almost $1 trillion in credit card debt.
Most would say that’s a bad thing.
But for the heroes of MAXED OUT, access to credit enables them to reinvent themselves.
With dead end jobs, empty bank accounts, and little hope for love, JAMES and STAN discover dozens of pre-approved credit card offers in their closet.
And so begins their journey into the lives of the rich and famous.
Along the way, our heroes meet, greet, and have fleeting relationships with beautiful women… only to find themselves potentially falling in love.
And, oh, they also buy lots of expensive stuff.
But, the credit card clock is ticking – and James and Stan are living a lie.
So, in ninety days, they’ll either find happiness, bankruptcy… or both.
