In March of this year, we spent 18 days traveling through Iceland and Norway. Our gear consisted of our backpacks and an inflatable stand up paddleboard. We were completely unprepared and from the moment we stepped off the plane we felt like we had entered another world. We experienced many things that we had not even considered before - including riding wild horses, stand up paddling under waterfalls and next to glaciers, surfing in snowy conditions, and hiking through ice caves. Our journey has led us to believe that adventure is important, perhaps even necessary in order to feel alive in this world.
After getting back from the trip, we realized that we had just completed one of the most amazing journeys of our life. We wanted to place our photos on something tangible that could inspire others to get out and see the world we live in. We decided that the best way to do this would be a coffee table book. Upon deciding that, we have spent endless hours selecting the best photos from our trip. We also went through all of our journaling along the way to write the short stories. Once we narrowed down what we felt was most important, we designed the book while placing the pictures and stories in chronological order. Our book consists of 102 exclusive photographs never seen before.
Now that we have our sample copy and we are extremely pleased with how it turned out, we would like to mass publish the book. Due to high startup costs, we need to reach our goal of $10,000 in order to make this possible. This is why our kickstarter campaign is crucial for our book's success. We hope that one day our book can be sold at Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, and coffee shops / local book stores across the nation. Once the book is published, the opportunities are infinite.

Risks and challenges
Due to the mass quantity that we may be printing, orders can easily get backed up. There is a small chance that we could be slow on our delivery pace. However, we plan on having the books and other items in your hands by November. We have a sample of the book and are happy with the overall look and feel. As far as the canvas, posters, and/or t-shirts, we can definitely get these into your hands by November, most likely October.
If problems do arise we will keep you up to date on what those problems are, and when we expect your book to be delivered .
