The Finding - The Story
The Finding is a story about three friends who discover their true selves amidst their efforts in trying to find their way out of a forest.
It's about survival, love, and friendship and explores the moral conflict between self-preservation and altruism that each of us face everyday.
Adam is a young self-made millionaire who founded a successful IT company. Having had lost his parents when he was a boy, and having needed to fend for himself for most of his life, he has a cynical view of human nature: people are motivated by selfishness and need for power.
Ben is Adam's best friend and co-founder of their company. Ben and Adam are like brothers: they trust each other completely and yet are fiercely competitive. A bon vivant, Ben floats through life unaffected, dining at the finest establishments in the company of ravishing women.
Elle, whose name means light, believes that people are inherently good. She is drawn to Adam's strength and resourcefulness and is intrigued by his cynicism. She shows Adam what it means to love and to be loved.
Elle and Adam are engaged to be married in two weeks when Ben presents them as their wedding gift, a hiking trip in the mountains.
What happens on that fateful trip is the subject of our movie The Finding.
