About this project

I wish to create a book called “Reflections from a Cage” which would contain very insightful stories, essays, prose, poetry and art work by a man who has spent over twenty years in prison since he was a teenager in some of our nation’s most notorious prisons such as Walpole in Massachusetts and Trenton State Prison in NJ. I am currently in possession of close to twenty years’ worth of material which was all donated. (NO prisoner will receive any money from any aspect of this project). Eleven years’ worth of material was created in Solitary Confinement where this man was alone with nothing but his mind, where he reflected very articulately on every aspect of life through his unique perspective. I truly believe this work will hold significant social value, where everyday people could, through this material, catch a glimpse of our world through this unique perspective, and also a glimpse of a world in and of itself they otherwise would never access. All donations will be used solely to both create and self-publish this work. I will keep all donors updated as the project progresses.
