Final update: Closing campaign and future plans
We think the reason is related to the fact that Sketch Tales being on a way too early stage of development, and as a result - we haven’t shown its features the way they should have been shown.
This is how Sketch Tales looked on the start of our campaign:
This is how it looks now:
We decided to cancel our campaign, searching for alternative ways to finance our development. We hope to make a better presentation at a better time later on. Unfortunately, Alex has ran out of flats, but we’ll figure something out. 8D
It was quite an interesting and important experience for us here on Kickstarter, and we are happy to have found new friends here. We appreciate the journalists who wrote about Sketch Tales and the backers, whose support was really important to us. After half a year of development we already have impressive results. The drawing mechanics, the physics, the landscapes - they all work perfectly together. The development of Sketch Tales continues. We have even more belief in this project and will try to make it better, hoping to expand the horizons of creative games - the ones that are more than just games.
Feel free to visit our Facebook, Steam Greenlight and Vkontakte pages, as well as our official Twitter, YouTube Channel, Flickr and Web-page if you would like to follow Sketch Tales and see our progress.
Yours, Alex, Rost, Paul, Anton, Alexander and Anastasiya from 8D Studio.
