Update#13: New screenshots

Hello everyone,

for this update I would like to address some concerns and share a few more screenshots from some of the game's new cars and tracks.

I have received several emails asking about the game's release date and why we haven't shown any gameplay videos yet. There is nobody that wants the game released more than we do and we are working hard to make it happen. There are still some areas that need work and I've kept postponing any gameplay videos until we are happy with what we are showing. I understand that the people that helped fund this project want to be more involved in the development process but I feel that releasing unpolished or rough material can do more harm than good. It's a fine line and I apologize if some people feel left out.

Also we'll make sure that everyone who doesn't use Steam will be able to receive his copy.

Last but not least..

Thank you!

Looking awesome as ever... I've just been playing Mario Kart 8 which is superb and this on the Wii U would be the perfect bed fellow. Kart racer and Arcade racer perfection. :)

It's looking great guys, you've really nailed the old school SEGA look. Can't wait to give this a test drive.

I know this game isn't all about realistic graphics, but do you plan on adding AO on vehicles?
In the second to last image, the (nascar) car doesn't seems to fit the environment as it is much brighter than the road.

First of all I have to thank you for publishing those screenshots. They look fantastic and present the perfect look & feel of old-school Arcade Racers. I really like them! They do look very good and much bettern as a look I would expect for a game with this budget.
Second, very nice to see another update this close to the former one.
Third, the last screenshot is great. Will you implement this TV-Screen filter as option we can select all the time we want or is this reserved for some special tracks/races? However, it looks so cool!

This game is going to be the reason I buy a WiiU. 'Nuff said.

I love that scenery porn. I am intriged by the last screenshot. Retro mode ? Also, will this game support the Oculus Rift ?

After seeing these, I must admit i'm proud to have backed this project.
So much disappointment from other backed projects that I've started to loose hope in the crowdfunding system.

I've shown these to 2 friends who are WiiU early adopters, and now they are eagerly waiting for it's release too XD

PS : at this stage, can you confirm (or not) that the game will support steering wheel (and force feedback) ?

I say this every time I see screenshots but the tracks in this game look absolutely amazing! Love the retro Outrun stage with its "flat" scenery too!

Even with things like the new Batman game this year, this is still by far the game I'm most excited to play.

Before the "waaah waaah"s arrive, these screenshots look great. The design of the courses is so cool that I would swear SEGA or Bandai Namco actually made this game instead of just a few indie developers. How about implementing a helicopter so we can fly around and look at the gorgeous scenery? LOL.
