This project was successfully funded on February 17, 2013.
Might look at some pictures of Daytona 2.
It's exactly two month ago we got the latest update on T90s Arcade Racer. Me and for sure most of all backers understand, you are very busy and as a very small team you can't make huge steps in development within a short time.
But we'd like to see some new update about the current state and maybe a first sign of an approximate release date? ;)
This should totally release for ps4, question, if you pledge to back this game and later they say it's going to be available for wii u, will said backer be able to get wii u version or do they have to have the PC version?
Can we please get an update?? It's been to long!
Yeah it'd be awesome to finally see the Wii U version, that's what I'm excited about the most :)
The team must be super busy but it will be cool to see more updates in the coming weeks/months.
Can you Make some videos from WiiU version ,please?
Hi, Can we have some confirmation please on a few things? Local Network Support?? Force Feedback Support?? Endurance Mode??
Hi guys! Have any of the in-game car images been added yet? Getting curious to see how my logo looks :)
Thanks Tyrone, awesome news dude! I'm wet just thinking about it :)
Thanks for the Wii U update. I'm so glad about this. I backed this project because I thought it was amazing. The Wii U version makes it awesome to me.
Isamu, one of our guys at the office has the OR dev kit. We'll test it out in the near future and see how good it feels with '90s Arcade Racer.
Tom, I might be able to convince Antonis to throw up some more screen shots. Have a look again next week, we may have some new assets up.
Hi chaps, thanks for the update, really glad to hear things are going well - "when it's done, it's done" is an ethos that many game devs could learn from (seriously, I don't care when it comes out as long as you're happy with it...), but would it kill you to give us a few more screenshots or the occasional in-game vid to pore over?! I've got no problem waiting as long as it takes, but I CRAVE more blue, blue sky pics!
Seriously though, glad everything's going well, keep up the good work!
Great update. Thanks guys. I second the suggestion from Lilian Gimenez about getting good force feedback effects, and Oculus Rift support. Plus SimVibe Telemetry support. All of these things will make the game absolutely awesome.
If you get a chance, please comment on your plans for online multiplayer in the next update :)
Guys and girls, sorry for the slow updating, but we've been making really amazing progress on the game. Be sure to read the latest update, just posted a few minutes ago for status of the game as well as a few new screen shots. Thanks for being so patient!
Almost feels like it's meaningless writing this because I'm sure the devs isn't even reading what we write.Maybe if i write in in caps...
CAN WE PLEASE HAVE SOME INFORMATION ON THE PROGRESS OF THE GAME!
@Carlos -- I'm not even sure the word "supporters" means something to them. "Money" surely does, though...
Almost twenty days left for this project´s first birthday, will we have it before it´s second birthday? Do the developers care? Please remember the supporters.
Nearly two month have passed by since the last update.
I kindly ask for another status update to know more about the development progress of T90s Arcade Racer since end of november?
Please let us know if this will have endurance mode like Daytona USA 1 and 2 allowing 500 laps etc with fuel and tyre wear
Happy New Year for all!! I wait for news about the game...
Happy New Year everyone! Any hope for news? Comments are scarce too, people has forgotten this game? I didn't... I hope the developers remember us and tell us something anytime.
Hi, the tracks are looking superb.
Will we get to see our logos on the cars/tracks anytime soon?
Good video... but, i would like watch more... menus, cars, etc...
Finally an update! Just saw the video and it's impressive... but I also saw the trailer from almost a year ago and the physics and the models, the environments look so finished and working, I cannot understand almost a year later the game is yet not playable...
@Thierry, you are absolutely right with your diagnosis of the situation... it's sad... The release date when the kickstarted began was around november-december, since we are already in that date, one cannot imagine having participated in a fundraising project which has no real deadline... and that the ones running the project deny at least a minimum monthly communication with their supporters. Anybody who had a similar experience on this website can share anything that we can do to get some real feedback from the project creators?
@Carlos -- Unfortunately, you're right... I posted several messages here to say how disappointed I am. The project itself isn't abandoned, as far as I know. What is abandoned since the beginning is the communication with us, and it's a shame. Kickstarter isn't "Shut up and give me your money", but I'm not sure the author is aware of that...
Having backed 15 other projects (big ones or not), the difference is just... well, huge. But what can we do ?
This is really disappointing... seeing other Kickstarter projects get funded and giving attention to their backers... The 90's Arcade Racer project seems abandoned... and the worst part is that it doesn't seem to care about the backers anymore.
Pelikan13, where's the news? Your last post was in 31 july!!!!
90's Arcade Racer update on Nicalis facebook page.
I simply quote, what Tyrone Rodriguez wrote in his latest comment: "the game will not make November and won't make this year. The development is going too well to try to rush it through. Have confidence that the finished game will really be AMAZING and thanks for the patience :)"
To get full details on the status just look at the latest Update: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/896834116/the-90s-arcade-racer/posts/615924
"Estimated delivery: Nov 2013". Does this still look like it'll happen? Game looks good and thanks for the updates!
Thanks! Perfect update and very nice new details!
Hey TheDriver79, be sure to check out the Updates for an update regarding physics and play control.
Another month passed by and today is October 1st. What about a status update and a video showing the progress or at least some new screenshots that gives us a sign of "it's still running good"?
When can we expect a release date to be announced?
I'm really looking forward and I fully support the development, but no news means often there are some problems, not always on developer side, but on other there might be.
Please be so nice and post an update with some new details!
The game looks jaw-droppingly gorgeous! This is gonna be the ultimate early christmas game for me this year, wow! Please keep up the great work and I can't wait to play! Thanks a million
@N13770.U2 -- Totally agree with you, as I said before. But... what can we do ?? This project just doesn't "feel" Kickstarter at all : only 3 updates since the project is funded, no videos, no website / devblog (promised since February, just check below in the comments)... *Sigh*
The updates are very slow... only few pics... nothing of videos... NOV/13??? When i will send my name for the credits?
This is getting suspicious... no other backers think the same? The dev posted 45 days ago to expect an update 'within the next few days'.
I want to trust the developer but the sparse updates and lack of solid info are upsetting me a bit.
Please Pelikan, post solid information and the definitive release date.
Can you please state the release date?
Hopefully an update or video of footage would be great
The game is supposed to be released in 3 monthes : where are the website and the dev blog you promised in February ? What about the updates (only two in the last 6 monthes) ? Even if the final product is great (and I really hope so), I'll stay very disappointed about your lack of communication with your community. I backed 14 projects, and this one is by far the worst about that...
Hello everyone, I will do an update within the next few days, I'm sorry for taking so long. Rest assured development is going as planned.
Yes, more than 2 monthes without any news... Very disappointing indeed.
I suscribe to the recent comments, it's time for an update.
Any chance of a PS Vita version?
Yes, please give us some news !
The progress so far is great, but what about some new information? Don't keeping people up-to-date forces doubt on the project and it's status.
Well, please give us some new stuff to show - us, the backers - what we can expect at the end of this year!
Hello Pelikan! Please, post Update # 8 about The 90's Arcade Racer... the last news was in May!
Please show us a video!
"of course there will be a website with a dev blog where everyone will be able to check on the game's progress. I will do an update here soon with all the details."
Really? Where is it?
A PC, Mac or Linux digital download of the game! Have a look a the Updates for more details.
