Three Sisters. One Secret.
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our project. We are currently in pre-production on THREE FORMS OF INSOMNIA and would like to give you an opportunity to be part of it.We have set shoot dates for early July with a budget of $10,000 to $15,000. We are making every effort to keep our budget low, with our largest expense naturally being the camera package. If we were to raise closer to $15,000, we’ll be able to upgrade to the spiffy ARRI Alexa and procure a top-notch lens package that will help us capture the visual spirit of the story.
Although we have gone to great lengths to maintain a most Spartan budget, there are necessities without which the film would suffer greatly. Lights, camera, action all come at a price, and the more we raise, the more we’ll be able to pour into beloved production. Thank you for helping make our project a reality!
THREE FORMS OF INSOMNIA unfurls over the
course of an evening. Monica Carmon (20s) arrives home to discover her older, pregnant
sister, Aurelia Carmon (early 30s), hiding in her bathtub. A verbal pas de
deux ensues. Aurelia evades. Monica interrogates, attempting to
wrest the secret from her sister’s lips. As Monica edges closer to the heart of
her sister’s equivocation, Estelle Carmon (late 20s) weaves between her two
sisters, but Estelle is a ghost with her own silent yet insistent mission. In
the end, all three sisters bear witness to a revelation so stunning that all
are rendered speechless. They lift their eyes to the night sky… stars barking above their heads.
