Sublime Dance Company has come so far in establishing its roots in the exciting but highly complex financial dance scene. This achievement is made possible thanks to the support of our close friends. Most of the success of just keeping the company alive comes from the pure passion of the company members who have donated their precious time toward the making of new works of art. But the major contribution of our friends will always be a key factor in deciding the financial stability of the company.
We are raising money for our upcoming dance performances listed below:
Open Performance @Movement Research (Feb), NYC10 Dance Festival @Dixon Place (April), SDC w/ Apollo Opera (April), SDC w/IndoRican Multicultural Dance Project Benefit (April), WaxWorks (April or May), Between The Seas-Mediterranean Art Festival (August)
All the money is going toward paying the artists, paying for the costumes and basic production costs. We are maximizing our reliance in the internet with regards to marketing the work. We are also being efficient in producing each show so that some of the funding can be redirected to providing incentives for all our supporters.
I believe that each artist should earn the money they are being donated to create work. With that said, bringing the work all the way to you in its most elevated artistic state needs funding.
