The less work you complete, the more you get paid. In “Construction & Corruption,” the longer you keep your contracts, the more money you will receive. But be careful! Too much money and not enough work can carry the stink of corruption, which might bring about a federal investigation! But even worse than that, success carries the sting of jealousy, and other players may try to attack you well before the cops find out!
Ce jeux termine avec une investigation fédérale; les joueurs s’enfuient dans de lointaines îles tropicales et celui avec le plus d’argent remporte la partie.
Ultimately the game ends with a federal investigation; the players flee to tropical islands, and the one with the most money wins!
Fête de lancement / Game Launch December 16th!
Creating the Game:
This summer, waiting to get on the 40, myself and my friend Frank found ourselves stuck in gridlock simmering in the heat. To entertain ourselves and keep our patience from expiring being trapped in traffic, we started bouncing ideas back and forth of a boardgame based on our gripes with Montreal’s infrastructure. After the day, (and the traffic), we thought it would be fun to see it through. Thus, slow progress commenced:
The Game Crafter was and is a very useful tool for burgeoning gamers. We used it to print our initial prototypes and it was very helpful. We highly recommend checking it out: https://www.thegamecrafter.com/
If we fulfill our $40k objective we will print 500 copies using Print Ninja - a reliable and high-quality manufacturer and printer.
If we reach our full stretch goals of $70k we will use Long Pack Games to produce a product including 3D Printed Plastic Traffic Cones and other perks.
Extra special thanks to Point de Victoire Montreal for hosting our first launch event!
Risks and challenges
Our main challenge is ensuring that our fans get value for their dollar, which is why we've crafted our basic First Edition without many bells and whistles to save on costs. If we reach our stretch goals it would be a much more developed and customized game to the topic of Construction & Corruption in Montreal.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
