Hollo Buster is a puzzle videogame for Windows, Android and iOS. It takes place in the Pacapillar universe by toripng. In Hollo Buster, our favorite Pacapillar, Hero, shifts the gravity of the nests to slide blocks around the room and smash Hollos. He has a limited amount of moves in each stage so plan ahead!
The job as a Hollo Buster is hard and requires lots of brains, but no challenge is too big for Hero, for his friends are counting on him! In each stage, Hero adventures into the nest of one of his friends to clear their house of the terrible Hollos. Each nest is different, since every Pacapillar is different.
And for those days when Hero takes a day off, recruit other Hollo Busters to come to the rescue! These alternative playable characters are available in the Pro version of the game and change the hero cube, portrait and particle effects!
The core gameplay of Hollo Buster is complete, but there is a lot of work left. The menus, more levels and of course, MORE PACAPILLARS! The money collected will be used to pay kickstarter fees, improvements to the game (Original music perhaps, check out the stretch goals!), and hopefully help Cathalla make more games!
We want to make a great game for the community. That is the purpose of gathering funds, however, we understand not everyone can afford to contribute. This is why, if Hollo Buster is funded, the base PC version will be available for free for everyone.

♪ 7000 USD: Additional Cutscenes. Get to know your neighbors even better while you enjoy more cutscenes during the game!
♪ 10000 USD: Secret Mini Games. We won't be telling you how to find these, but we'll hide a bunch of Pacapillar mini games for you to enjoy. Once you find them you'll be able to access them from an arcade machine featured in the overworld.
Pacapillars are small insect-like creatures. They are somewhat bigger than caterpillars, about the size of hamsters, and they are very energetic. Most will participate in social activities with other Pacapillars. Pacapillars come in different themes, materials, colors and even shapes!
Inside every Pacapillar there is a small object called core. Their core contains the very essence of the Pacapillar. This small object can be anything but it usually is an object that resonates strongly with the pacapillar
Hollos are small shadowy creatures that appear in areas of low or lost magic. Their origin is unknown but some believe they come from the mass use of evil magic.. They are known to be attracted to Pacapillar magic. Hollo can infect Pacapillar with Hollo disease, eventually turning them into a Shell Hollo.
The pacapillar universe is quite deep and exciting. This was a quick roundup, but there is much to be learned about Pacapillars!
♪ Toripng: Tori is a university student studying at SCAD and the creator of Pacapillars. They are working to complete their BFA in Game Design. Tori aspires to be a team director, manager, or producer in the future. They hope to have their own studio one day! Other than that, they love to design monsters, creatures, and other designs cute or not.
♪ Nokkelborth: Nokkel is a digital artist that aspires to be concept artist for games. They love designing characters and working with bright colors. For this project, they are in charge of most of the assets needed for the game.
♪ Quokkat: . Believes video games are the ultimate art form. He loves to work in every area related to video game development. From Art to Code to Design.
♪ Flash: Game developer. Likes looking after little details, which he thinks is what makes games stand out. Will help to make the development of the game as smooth as possible.
Risks and challenges
We expect to finish the game by the end of the year (we'll keep you updated). However as with anything there is a risk; computers sometimes fail, pen tablets break, unexpected problems that are out of our control may happen.
