What is this Kickstarter all about?
We are going to create a game similar to F-Zero GX. A game with unique gameplay, great visuals and a lot of content. You could say, the unofficial successor that F-Zero GX deserved but never had.
- Race with high-speed on more than 20 insane race tracks.
- More than 30 different machine's
- Track and machine editor.
- Split-screen for up to 4 player and online multiplayer for up to 16 player.
The gameplay is simple. Race in high-speed for the victory, in 3 laps, versus a bunch of merciless opponents. Everyone's boost is disabled in lap one.
As soon as you have finished lap one, your boost will be enabled.
Race with incredible high-speed!
When you boost, you will lose a short amount of your machine energy, which can be refilled on the track during the race.
The game will contain more than 20 stunning race tracks.
The game will contain an extensive track editor.
If the already existing tracks are not enough for you, just create your own crazy race tracks!
Unlimited possibilities, your imagination knows no limits.
Share your tracks online with your friends.
Over more than 30 different machine's to choose from. Every machine has its own handling and attributes.
There will be also a machine editor. Choose from many different machine parts such as "Cockpit", "Body" and "Boost" to create your unique machine.
The game will contain modes like:
Race for the championship on 5 different cups, each with 4 race tracks.
Eliminate your arch-enemy and become the champion of the galaxy.
Gravity Rage is a mode where you have to eliminate your opponents. Either by pushing them down the track or by attacking them. The last one on the track wins!
Race as team. Each team consists of 8 racers. The team who has won more points after a certain amount of races, wins!
The game will support online multiplayer for up to 16 player.
Split-screen for up to 4 player will be supported aswell.
And more modes to come!
We are a new and highly engaged independent development team with a passion for fast racing games. All of our members have worked in the industry for several years now and we are very exited to take this new step.
We have founded Next Generation Gaming in 2015 with the goal to fulfill a long-cherished wish each and every one of us had for years. The wish for a new F-Zero.
This is why we created this Kickstarter, it gives us the opportunity to raise enough money to work fulltime and with heart on this long-awaited game.
We hope you share our vision and enjoy our Kickstarter campaign.
Stretchgoals are a nice way to add more content and support to an already funded game. We have already some stretchgoals in mind, but for now we want to wait and see if we can reach our funding goal. If we can reach the funding goal we will add the stretchgoals to the list.
Follow us on Twitter to stay up-to-date. Feel free to tell your friends about our campaign and to share it via Twitter. It will help to make the campaign more popular and to reach the funding goal.
Extreme Gravity Rage will be released in May 2017 on
Playstation 4, Xbox One, WiiU and PC.
A word about Nintendo's new console system "NX"
"Why no "NX" version?"
We also want to bring Extreme Gravity Rage on Nintendo "NX", but as for now, we don't have any information about this new system.
As soon as Nintendo reveals "NX" and provides us the information we need to bring Extreme Gravity Rage on "NX", we will let you know it.
We know that some people might be unsure now whether to get the WiiU version of the game or to wait for a possible "NX" version of the game. And therefore, we would like to offer you a great deal.
If we get the confirmation that we can release Extreme Gravity Rage on "NX", you will be able to upgrade your WiiU version to an "NX" version of the game at no cost!
More about it in the future!
Risks and challenges
Developing games is a huge challenge, especially for such a small team like us.
Thanks to many years of experience, we can well estimate the amount of work and on what we need to pay attention in the development to avoid mistakes.
Nevertheless, unexpected problems may occur despite good planning, but thanks to the experience we've gained in the past, we can handle them very well.
Should problems arise, what we do not expect, we will keep you up-to-date on our Twitter page.
The worst-case scenario would be the delay of Extreme Gravity Rage.
We are working on Extreme Gravity Rage for 4 months now and it's in stable Pre-Alpha build.
So we have laid the foundation and the hardest part is behind us.
We once again want to thank you for reading and visiting our Kickstarter and we hope to see you soon on the high-speed race track.
