Support this creative project to film a TV pilot in India and West Virginia to pitch to U.S. and global networks!
“NOW with Fiona Dawson” is a TV show that looks at ways people are working to end discrimination. The audience is entertained but also moved, motivated and inspired to change their action and attitude. Episodes will demonstrate the positive work people are doing to make this world a better place where everyone has equal rights, equal respect and equal responsibility.
The series will share stories of real life, everyday heroes and how they are making a difference in the lives of those who face discrimination due to some dimension of diversity. Each segment concludes with what the audience can do to help end this intolerance.
Rather than leading with the issue, we will lead with human stories that wouldn't normally make the light of day; stories from which we can all learn.
Human rights activist Fiona Dawson and Emmy winning production team Zenfilm invite you to help make this show. Together Fiona and Zenfilm, will pitch the pilot in New York and LA with the intention of getting picked up and creating a solid and sustainable funding for a series.
Through friends and contacts, plans are underway to film several charities in India to compare and contrast with similar issues in the United States. We will cover stories of volunteers who are working to help children and adults who are denied equal opportunity. Topics will include: poverty, denial of education, healthcare issues and sex-trafficking.
Your support will cover flights, ground transportation, accommodation, food, insurance and minor equipment needed to make this pilot happen. Thank you for anything you can give and thank you for believing in the show. Please know that your generosity will be paid forward to make this world a better place. Thank you.
