The Legend of the Circus
The Circus of Corruption is presented here in 28mm metal miniature form by Oldschool Miniatures.
Stories of the Circus are whispered around lonely campfires and isolated roadside taverns. This story begins in the little village of Runderskill, many years ago...
Runderskill, the Village that Vanished
‘We need relief!’ bellowed Nathaniel Vartz, waving away a fly with his cracked, hard-working hands. The small group of farmers with him muttered their agreement. 'If the increased taxes weren't bad enough,' Nathaniel continued, 'then you have the tithes as well!' 'Aye, the tithes,' grumbled the other farmers.
The object of their ire, the ruddy-faced village Mayor, made placating motions with his hands as if trying to fan away their ill feelings. 'Come on now chaps,' he said, in a companionable way, 'we're all doing it tough in times of war...'
'My crops are failing on account of this damnable drought, I can barely feed my own mouths,' Nathaniel waved to where his two children were playing in the dirt nearby, 'let alone the soldiery. Rolf's hogs are dying of fever, and Old Ned's sheep are all flyblown. We can't meet the tithes, we need relief!"
'Look,' said the Mayor, but couldn't think of anything else to say. Things had been so much easier when he was elected, the weather was clement, the crops bountiful, almost no bandit raids at all, but lately...
A little girl's shriek of joy interrupted the Mayor's troubled musings, and much to his relief, he looked up to see a troupe of entertainers entering the dusty town square. 'Oh, a circus! Thank the gods...'
At this point we will break from our story and introduce the performers - we will come back to the story in our updates

We are trying something different this time with our rewards.
You can either go in for a £1 pledge and add-on groups of players and stretch goals or you can go for the full Troupe, to which you can also add stretch goals.

£7000 & £8500 - Your suggestion
Once we unlock the cart we will put a poll on the facebook page
If we hit £10k we will attempt to cast the cart in metal. We are not sure if it can be done and we have no idea of how much it will cost. I will update this if we are getting close.
Jason Fairclough of Thunderchild Miniatures sculpted all the miniatures in this Kickstarter. The Moulding and Casting were done by Rob Alderman and his team at Hysterical Games. Finally, they are sold by The Oldschool Miniature company.
The painted examples above are the resin masters and the aim of the Kickstarter is to pay for the sculpting and casting and the manufacture of the production moulds.
We try and keep shipping costs to a minimum and don't make a profit from shipping but its a fact of life that shipping does cost. If you back the full troup that is 17 metal miniatures which will we expect to be between 650-900g. We are not including tracking as part of any order unless you spend over £60 as Royal Mail only refund the manufacturing costs, not the retail price. If you would like tracking add £1 UK, £2 EU, £3 RofW and tell me in the survey.
Risks and challenges
This is The Oldschool Miniature Companies 4th Kickstarter. We have learned lessons from each one as we have gone along.
We are well prepared for this Kickstarter with all models including the first stretch goal ready to be production moulded. If we reach the second stretch goal the sculpting and moulding of these models could delay shipping by a few weeks.
The final stretch goal is a bit of an unknown but if we hit that much we will clarify itLearn about accountability on Kickstarter
