Motion Control Rig

The updates for Super Natura couldn't be more exciting, because this week we have been filming with a motion control rig on set! Imagine that you can use a Windows DOS program to talk to a giant robot dinosaur who has a camera for a head. Look here to see what I mean... Motion Control Rig

That machine is movie magic at its best because it lets you create swooping crane shots in your set. I went through a training workshop in early October just so that I could use shots like this in Super Natura. I jsut wanted to clue you in, and let you know that the Production Blog will be posting videos from the shoot this week from bothnthe video and anmation portions of the shoot. I will try not to give anything away, so expect clips from procduction from very different scenes. I will show some mo co shots from the night time filed sequence as well as some bug animation tests to get you sufficiently teased. In the meantime, enjoy everything around you, from the most minute on up! Yours in appreciation, Gina
