Yes, Sea Shepherd Galapagos has been working on this film with Jeff Litton from UGENA, the United Global Environmental News Agency, as well as partnering with La REDE, or the Union of Environmental Lawyers of Latin America. We've been collaborating on this project since 2011 and it has been well received by government officials, the Galapagos National Park, as well as other organizations.
As an independent filmmaker, Jeff Litton has been working on the film as the Director/Producer and editor, while also trying to empower Sea Shepherd in every way possible including fundraising for the project. The idea is to produce this film for Sea Shepherd free of charge, instead of costing them the thousands of dollars required.
The benefit of fundraising through Kickstarter, it becomes a collaboration among the people who love it most. Also, we're happy to give you a copy of the film, so hopefully we can offer you a tool so you too can help spread the word that sharks and dolphins are worth protecting.
