Pauliina (Polly) Swindells and her horse Ferro S are on course to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
Polly, an equestrian who represents Finland, needs to raise funds so she can compete in events leading up to Japan, not to mention Japan itself.
You might think equestrian is a rich person's sport but Polly works in a stables, making bang on the UK's average wage. She gets some help via sponsors and the Finnish Federation but it's nowhere near enough to cover the travel, the entry costs, the feed, the overnights, the vet bills and all the rest ... for her, her horses and her team.
Polly has been competing since her teens. She qualified for Rio 2016, but had to pull out after suffering a broken back. Determined to see her Olympic dream come true, she has trained hard and sacrificed a lot to get back in the saddle.
To help raise travel funds, Polly has written a wacky, captivating kids' book starring none other than her horse - Ferro S (and a cast of oddball characters)!
So please, dig deep and help Polly and Ferro. Go get lost on the moon with a cast of oddball characters like Great Aunt Sharon, Colin Michaels (the two human heads of the Lunar Olympic Committee), a knitting platypus and a rocket-making dog as they all try to help Ferro, the wannabe Olympian!
