About this project
I am planning to reissue the DMZ//38 original album "No Man's Land" since the CD is no longer available in print. Since the release of the original album in 2006, I've visited the actual DMZ in Korea to bear witness to the ongoing need for a peaceful reunification of Korea. If you believe in peace and a reunified Korea, I encourage you to actively support this project. DMZ//38 is a unique voice drawing attention to Korea, and you can help make sure this important music continues to be heard.
DMZ//38 was formed to draw attention to the ongoing division of the Korean peninsula. The name DMZ//38 refers to the De-Militarized Zone located at the 38th Parallel separating South and North Korea from the close of the Korean War in 1953 to the present day.
Our song "Reunify" has been broadcast into North Korea airspace via Radio Free Asia, while "No Man's Land" has been featured in curriculum about modern Korea for K-12 students in New England area schools. DMZ was also interviewed and featured by YTN, which is South Korea's 24 hour news network.
The album will be retitled "Reunify," and funding will be used towards original artwork for a new cover and booklet, as well as duplication costs. "Reunify" will be distributed in Eco-wallets, which use no plastic and reduce impact on the environment.
Update: November 14
We're in very good shape at 80% funding with just 15 days to go! Thank you for all of the support and am getting excited about seeing a completed CD ready by December!

Risks and challenges
The main challenge for this project will be coordinating the required tasks to completion by the goal of December 2012. There is a possibility that the schedule could be briefly extended due to manufacturing delays, additional design revisions, and limited time availability of the project principal.
Despite these challenges, I am highly committed to deliver a completed project on schedule. In my prior experience which includes recording and releasing one full-length album and several demo's, I've consistently reached my targeted goals.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
