All rewards now come with a Kickstarter-exclusive secret chapter that will NOT be available for sale after the campaign ends on June 8th.

Originally, I asked for $150 to cover the cost of a single ISBN. Now that the goal has been met, I have a lot more resources. I will expand the content of the book, create more illustrations, publish four editions of the book, register a copyright with the US Library of Congress, and explore the possibility of publishing in paperback format.

♥ ♥ ♥ The Mission ♥ ♥ ♥
I'm simply on a mission to arm to world with positive, creative ideas. That's why I want to help you crane: to stretch for your most creative state. I think that, if I can bring a taste of Stanford design education to you, you will be closer to being your best creative self.
♥ ♥ ♥ The Goal ♥ ♥ ♥
- Original $150: goal met with amazing speed. Thanks!
- Reach $3000: every backer receives a Kickstarter-exclusive secret chapter. Goal met.
♥ ♥ ♥ The Book ♥ ♥ ♥
This book is filled with four years worth of advanced design learning, including product design, design thinking, and creative problem solving methods taught at Stanford University's Design School (the d.school). My professors, instructors, and peers taught me a lot. I want to share what I learned with you so that you might increase your creative performance and understand what it's like to study at Stanford's design program!
- Tips and tricks informed by instruction from leaders at IDEO, Lunar, Catapult, D2M, Jump Associates, and more.
- Stories, methodologies, idea generation strategies, and reflective exercises in nonacademic terms.
- Content rich, including interviews with experts and innovators in the design field, illustrations, and detailed step-by-step instructions.
- About 100 pages in length
♥ ♥ ♥ The Progress ♥ ♥ ♥
So far, I've imagined, designed, and written the book. iTunes Connect has approved me as an iBook vendor. And I have all of the skills and software necessary to publish the digital book. I'm finishing illustrations and wrapping up the editing process. Now I need your help...

Risks and challenges
This is a large project completed on a short schedule. Luckily I have a great support network: dedicated work-shopping classmates in my Advanced Creative Nonfiction class, peers in my senior Product Design capstone class "ME216 C Implementation," faculty and mentors affiliated with Stanford's d.school (Hasso Plattner Design Institute), and a couple lovely writer friends.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
