Long time no hear
Sorry for the long wait in between updates. Things have been hectic, but productive. Right now David is about 80% done with the primary artwork for the book. The pages he has been producing look great. I can't wait for you to see them. I've already sent some of the files to Federico to color. He has about 6 pages colored so far and they look gorgeous. I attached a couple pages for you to gawk over.
I honestly believe issue 2 looks 10 times better than issue 1. I really feel like you will enjoy it. With speaking with David, he should be wrapping up the last couple of pages within the next couple of days. Right now we are on pace to get things done for that January release. It might be late Jan, but we should be ok.
If anything else pops up I will let you know. Sorry for the lack of updates again. I will do my best to keep you informed as things happen.
Oh yeah, FYI. I recently announced that for the month of November, all proceeds from sales at tauruscomics.com will be donated to Salvation Army for their support of the people in the Butte County Camp Fire. I live 2 hours away from Paradise, Ca, where the fires are currently and my city is covered with dust and ash that is being blown from the blazes. My family and I have been wearing masks when we go out the house because the air is so bad. They've even cancelled schools because of the air quality...and again I live 2 hours away. I can't imagine how the people in Paradise are dealing with it.
I wanted some way to help support them. I've already donated a few times to different gofundme pages, but i wanted to do more. So I decided to donate any income I make for the rest of the month and maybe longer. With christmas coming, times are going to be rough on the people in that rejoin.
I don't know how much i will raise ultimately, but I figured even a few dollars can help. If you would like to help here are other ways to donate:
Caring Choices is accepting monetary donations.
The Red Cross and AT&T are partnering up: text CAWILDFIRES to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
The Salvation Army: Del Oro Division
United Way of Northern California Relief Fund: To donate text BUTTEFIRE to 91999. GoFundMe has created a roundup of campaigns to raise money for victims.
Wells Fargo customers can make donations to the Red Cross at ATMs through Nov. 27. The bank says 100 percent of contributions will be sent to the American Red Cross.
Thanks again for you time. Hope you're doing well and wish you a great Thanksgiving next week.
