I've created a cute little penguin character to become my sidekick, he has his own little personality, features on his own desk calendar each year (the 2018 version is still available to buy from my Etsy shop) alongside a selection of greeting cards. I even created a cute enamel pin last year where penguin had made a pink heart garland to cheer you or a friend up, these have been incredibly popular.
I've been working on expanding my range of penguin products, and this is where I need your help.
Get Cool Stuff Done Penguin Enamel Pin
Penguin wants to encourage you to get the cool stuff done with this cute enamel pin. This pin will be made from high quality soft enamel and epoxy resin, with a black dye metal outline and 2 butterfly fixings on the back. Each pin is approximately 28mm across and 30 mm tall and will be packaged on a backing card, making it an ideal gift.
The pins will be produced by the same manufacturers as my original penguin enamel pins, so I know that they will be great quality.
Each pledge will receive my eternal gratitude and I hope I've included a range of rewards for every budget. Choose to receive one, two or more pins as your reward, make the most of the early bird offers in the first week and keep an eye out for my stretch goals if I'm lucky enough to reach the target.
If you cannot afford to pledge, please share with your friends, I really do appreciate your support.
Potential Stretch Goals
In order to expand my range of Penguin products, I have created a few extra items that will get produced if I reach the relevant stretch goals.
£360 - "Do all the cool stuff" Notepad (This will be A6 105mm x 148mm, and will have 50 pages for your lists and notes) as well as a matching blue pencil with eraser featuring the words "Have an ice day" in white.
£620 - If I'm lucky enough to reach this goal, I will get more pink heart garland pins produced as well as a blue and purple variation.
EDIT 12 May - All stretch goals have been met and so all pin designs, notepads and pencils will be available at the end of the campaign.
Please note that pin, notepad and pencil imagery are for visual purposes only and are mock ups of the final design. The final design, including colours may vary slightly.
Where will the money go?
The majority of the money will go towards getting 100 enamel pins manufactured, a small amount will be for creating the cute backing cards and the remainder for kickstarter fees. The shipping cost go towards the postage and packaging.
Risks and challenges
If this project is successful, the pins, backing cards and any products that have been unlocked from the stretch goals will be sent to be manufactured straight away, however this process could take up to four weeks and may experience delays. I aim to have all products with me and ready to send in early to mid june.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
