Agrotower is a patented vertical growing system developed for the Strawberry industry. Grow fresh vegetables,strawberries and herbs right on your patio at home.

Over the years we have had many requests to come out with a garden or patio version of this product. We are responding to these request on KickStarter to help cover the high costs for tooling.
In order to get Patio Farm off the ground we need to make a rotational molded base. Tooling alone for this base has been quoted at $15,000.00, not including any production costs. It is our hopes that Kickstarter will raise enough capital to fund this tooling and cover the initial production costs, which we estimate to be near $25,000.00.
We donated some of our towers to the Orange County Great Park in Irvine California. This video was made by Growingyourgreens.com . We don't know them, we didn't pay to have this done. But we like him alot, orders on our site went through the roof.

What we learned was that people really want a system approach that they can set up on the patio of their home or condo. Patio Farm accomplishes this taking up only a few square feet. You can use your own favorite soil for conventional growing or our Coco Coir media for hydroponic growing, all the feeding is done through the water via a pump and timing system.

Because we don't have an actual hydro-base made at this point it is difficult to get actual shipping rates at this time. We will be making several test runs on the mold for the hydro-base to see what wall thickness works the best. Too thick is a waste of money and drives the costs up, too thin and it won't hold the weight of the unit up.
Our estimates show the shipping container will be 24"X24"X36" and weigh 35 lbs.
We are looking at different carriers based on these estimates and will post these estimates in a few days.
