This Dance Musical production is the back story to the nursery rhyme Jack & Jill!
EVER AFTER: The Story of Jack and Jill
Written and Directed by Chris Thomas. Presented by AT2 Productions.
side note! I talk about raising awareness for kids that come from broken homes in the audition trailer. This is not for charity. I find that I work best when I have a motive that I'm passionate about!
What are we doing?
I'm raising funds to put on a big scale dance musical extravaganza! "Ever After: The Story of Jack and Jill". The show is a dance musical production set to major dance hits of the 80's and 90's. The production will feature different genres of dance and will headline an electric and talented young cast! The cast and crew are going to come together to bring the back story of Jack and Jill and many other Mother Goose characters to life through dance, theatrics, and amazing energy!
What is AT2 Productions?
AT2 Productions (A Time Too..Productions) is small Phoenix based production company made up of aspiring performing artists and entertainers who have come together to bring the LA and NY entertainment experience to the Phoenix metropolitan area. Our goal is to give artists and entertainers an opportunity to perform and excel at what they love right in their backyard. Arizona has many talented performers and artists and AT2 wants to give them the resources to shine! We want to give dancers a stage, singers a platform, and artists and canvas!
"Ever After" is the second Dance Musical presented by AT2, "Shout!" was the first!
SHOUT! "A pinch of old school with a touch of finesse.."
Shout was a modern day dance musical performed to classic Motown and old school favorites that was fun for the entire family. The Show was set in an old apartment complex on the streets of 45th and Wesson somewhere on the West side. The complex housed a group of kids and their families and served as a life source. When an accident happened in the building everything changed. With the complex at a stand still the community that once stood together began to fall. Families became more wealthy causing friendships in the community to part ways. Years later we are brought back to 45th through the eyes of the lead character "Chez", and we see how everything has changed; friendships, relationships, and society. Chez is forced to apply a new way of thinking to the many disappointments and heartbreaks that are in front of him.
Jack and Jill will be the second dance musical presented by AT2! The first show debuted on April 9th of 2011 in front of a sold out audience at Mesa Center for the Arts. The production was called "Shout!" The show featured a brilliant cast of Arizona performers who are now making their mark in the industry. The cast credits include, GLEE, DISNEY, and MTV'S AMERICA'S BEST DANCE CREW. Shout! was a huge success and people responded really well to my first production. During the run of the show I didn't have much of a budget but we were able to pull it off. This time around we hope to surpass what we were able to do previously with a bigger budget and bigger SHOW!
How you can help?
Your gifts and donations will help cover theater costs, wardrobe, set designs, props, lighting design, and recording studio space! In doing the first show I joked about how we were able to "attack from land". With your help we hope to attack by land, air, and sea! We are looking to make this production HUGE and put Arizona's talent on the map! We appreciate any donations!

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
In order to put on a show with an extremely big scale much will be needed. Hindrances will arise and conflict will follow. The first issue is theater space. I'm going to need the money to provide a venue for the production. Venue's are often hard to lock down and scheduling has and will continue to be an issue. I'm also going to need elaborate set designs, props, wardrobe, and special effects to make this show as epic as it can be. My goal is to put on the best show with what I have, and I plan to do the very best job I can do.
I'm going to have a video blog that shows the productions progress of the show from day 1 until the show debuts. This way, you will have chance to see our progress and how much your donations are helping!
