One of a kind illustrated portrait of your pet to liven up your life and immortalize them on paper
You love your pets. I love drawing them.Together we make them immortal.
Wow! Project of the Day, March 10th. Thanks so much everyone for making this such a big success.
I've had this project on my mind for a while and just love the idea of getting to see other peoples best friends and drawing them. As you can tell from the drawings I will be putting my own illustration style on them and put them in fun environments. The more information you give me about them the more I can personalize the drawing to fit your pet. So don't be shy, tell me all about their quirky habits.
You don't have a little buddy? That's ok. You can get the zine which will feature a variety of illustrations from the project. it'll be loads of fun.

Any questions or comments please feel free to email me.
I get the original drawing?
Yes, if you pledge the $30 or above you will receive my original drawing. One of a kind. that's pretty awesome.
What will the zine look like?
The zine will be hand bound. It'll be a cool little book with my favorite portraits from the project. It will be a limited edition zine.
Will the drawing actually look like my pet?
I will try my best to make my drawing resemble your pet but I can't guarantee it. I have a very specific illustration style that purposefully distorts the animals features. If you like my illustration style I think you'll like the drawing I do for you. If you're looking for a perfect recreation of your pet this probably isn't the project for you.
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
There aren't really any risks involved in this project, paper is plentiful and I have plenty of pens and ink. The challenge will depend greatly on the number of individuals pledging to have their pets drawn. If the project takes off I will simply have to hunker down and draw lots of lovely little critters. But that makes me happy, so I'm not too worried about it. To help insure that this doesn't happen and keep me from getting in over my head I've put a cap on the amount of drawings available for commission. This will help me meet my proposed delivery date.
