It's always something when one guy ruins it for the rest of them. Still haven't back any more kickstarters because of this experience.

    2. Kuma_Dono on October 29, 2015

Still logging in I see Lee, no comments, apologies or explanations?

Also see and are dead and buried so I guess the company that took over all your assets don't even want to touch the brand anymore.

    3. Ryan Trussler on July 27, 2015

Also backed and never received anything.

This has been a waste of my time.. I funded this project and received the redemption notice and have as yet, NEVER REC'D ANYTHING.. Its a real shame in how this has been handled.. It makes it bad for other legitimate kickstarter projects.. I will NEVER waste my time with a concept in here ever again! Have a good day LEE.. You're not worth any more of my time.. I paid for your time... believe me.... I wonder how many more just forgot about it like I did too..

I filled everything out correctly and they sent NOTHING! ... Karma is a Bi$&H Lee!

@James I tweeted the Snappgrip twitter account, and since they now own it, they answered. Back when things were just starting to fall apart they said:
"LEE is leaving this industry. We need to check with lee to see what happen with the kickstarter backers."
But on the 10th of March they said "we are just a manufacturer of this product. You guys should take legal action against lee and kickstarter" and "i took this brand only because lee owes us a lot of money from shipment we sent him. I can close this account anytime"
So they've no interest/responsibility to fulfil the kickstarter. It's Lee and his dodgy dealings.
I've emailed kickstarter a couple of times but they don't respond.

I have also not received mine. Almost forgot about it til I decided to check kickstarter.

So. It seems the company that makes snappgrip has taken the company over because Lee owes them a load of money. They aren't going to give any of you your snappgrips. You need to take legal action against Lee/Kickstarter

      NEVER got one.

Never received my Snappgip sent emails no reply tried to redeem voucher but website down. Just says coming soon this is a good ten month trying.

lost all interest of crowd founding Kickstarters are not interested in getting my money back and have had the same problem with Indigogo it seems these kick starter website like to take money and not be responsible for rogue projects who steal you're money.

They make money on ever project but do not want to be accountable for compensation

    17. Alvin Xant on January 12, 2015

Never received my snapgrip, no answer to emails/messages, website is gone, Lee is gone... this is not the way to deal with backers... my first backed project here, I feel cheated, seems like fraud.

Love how it's always up to the people who took a chance on an idea to have to jump through hoops to get their money back. I think I am done supporting anything crowd funded. Never received it, never hear any updates after the money was taken.

I emailed kickstarter a while back, but they wash their hands of any involvement. They point to the terms of use -
And said that "This information can serve as a basis for legal recourse if a creator doesn’t fulfill their obligations under the agreement."
So about all you can do is threaten snappgrip with going legal.

It's almost 2 YEARS that I have supported this campaign !!
      Still waiting my Snappgrip !!

I wonder how some creators do'nt have the minimum idea of what is PLANNING a product !!
Writing "estimated delivery" on February 2013 with the campaign closing in January 2013 means 2 things :
      a) the products are ready to be shipped
      b) the crowdfunding campaign is a fraud
It's sad to verify that the second option is the truth , and verifying that the creator is disappeared and the website too , is the confirmation of that .
I wonder that Kickstarter did'nt do anything against these dishonests

    25. Brian Pitblado on September 23, 2014

Well that's a 100% failure rate for Kickstarter projects I've funded. It would probably been more productive throwing my money down a wishing well....

I think Snappgrip has been sold?!
Just got a reply from a tweet I sent 2 months ago from Snappgrip "we are the company who developed and manufacture this product. We just take over the ownership of snappgrip" and they're rebuilding the website.
I'd advise people get directly in touch with Kickstarter - Looks like you've been swindled.

    28. Terry Elvers on September 19, 2014

      Never got mine.

      No more communication....

Lee: You OWE us at least an explanation! I want the snapgrip, do I have any chance of getting one?????

    29. Alejandro E Valadez on September 17, 2014

So I are we getting this device or did you just steal our money?

Now that I remembered the snapgrip I backed long long time ago and wanted to see if a S3-Version is available I see that is gone.... what happened? ... I would like to place an order even for an iphone-version and resell it, my S3 won't last long anyway..... HELP PLEASE !

      Million Thanks for your help.

    36. Mosley Hardy on August 22, 2014

UPDATE: I was able to contact Lee through the website. Happy to say that we worked out my problem and they shipped my Snapgrip that same day.

    37. Gunther VDV on August 14, 2014

Seriously guys... just give us an answer. Are we ever going to see the Galaxy S3 version?
This was the first project I backed on Kickstarter, it was how I got to know about Kickstarter.
I have since backed a lot of projects and received all of my products... just waiting on yours...
Heck, I would even be happy with an update or a mail with a simple explanation about where you stand with the Samsung cases. Even a simple update of your website, in stead of the "expected delivery in January 2014"

    38. Kelvin D'Arcy-Burt on August 11, 2014

      Hi Lee

Are we still waiting for the Galaxy S3 product? If so, what is the expected timeline? If not, I haven't got mine !!

    39. Kuma_Dono on August 8, 2014

"Lee Harris wrote me an email just minutes after i posted my previous comment"

That's nice, because he keeps ignoring my posts and emails about my refund being 4 months late!

I still have not received my Snappgrip yet. On the order form I filled out for the shipment is order receipt #2858 - April 25, 2014. It's been over 3 months now and I'm still waiting for it.

    41. Missing avatar Boer on August 7, 2014

I have to apologize to Lee Harris, i did recieve an email in January with a voucher so i could order the Snappgrip through the site of Snappgrip. I completely missed that email and Lee Harris wrote me an email just minutes after i posted my previous comment. I did what the email of January asked me to do and i ordered the snappgrip free of charge because i backed the project. All in all my excuses to the founder.

    42. Missing avatar Boer on August 7, 2014

Still not recieved anything. I wish i never backed this project. In September the iPhone 6 will come so this snapgrid will be useless anyway

    43. Mosley Hardy on July 29, 2014

I never got mine either. Lee told me that I was sent a redemption coupon, but I was never able to find it. After I told him twice that it wasn't in my spam folder, he no longer answers my messages.

    44. Aaron Martin on July 18, 2014

I still have not received my snapgrip. Ridiculous.

    45. Kuma_Dono on July 15, 2014

Kickstarter don't want to know so I'm thinking of contacting trading standards as Lee is in breach of consumer law, he should have supplied me with my refund within 30 days and it's *way* over that now.

This has been the most disappointing Kickstarter I have participated in. I have others in my past that have taken longer than anticipated, and even one that is almost 1.5 years old... but none before this one has left me feeling like I helped someone who doesn't care for his backers. If this was truly a necessity for Lee to get his product launched, you would think he'd be grateful enough to ensure all backers are taken care of before making retail profit off one half of the retail offering... (IE: Iphone sales, VS Android users out in the rain). Can't wait to see my Snapgrip, and an obsolete case for my GSIII...

    47. Alejandro E Valadez on July 9, 2014

Have not received my case does it take that long for the ship to cross the ocean or do I have to wait till Columbus reincarnates to have my package sent to me?

    48. Brian Pitblado on July 3, 2014

Now into Q3 and still no Android. Why do I feel that my money was used for iPhone development & Android will never see the light of day :(

    49. Kuma_Dono on June 26, 2014

Still not got my money back!
