About

My name is Bijhan, and I've been making games, music, and stories in my hometown of West Seattle since I was kid. I invented the Time Wars universe to entertain my friends and tell stories about heroes of every shape, color, and size.
I enjoy making games that are unlike anything else that exists. I noticed that a lot of games have combat, have an economy, and discourage card counting. So I thought, what if I did the opposite?
No combat.
No economy.
Stack the deck and count your cards.
It only takes a few minutes to learn and play this exciting science fiction action adventure game which puts you in the role of Supreme Commander of the Time Wars. Assemble a team of Time Travelers and arm them with futuristic Items, trying to control the flow history and score your goals.

Each turn, you can do exactly one thing: play a card, use a card already in play, or draw a card, or collapse the Timeline (more on that in a bit).
The cards in your Home Zone represent your agents from the future, powerful investments which will stay with you. When you a play a card into the Timeline, its ability is added to the chain of events which will eventually unfold, and the most powerful way to score your Goals. As you take turns playing cards, collecting assets, and manipulating the Timeline so that it meets your needs, you'll need to stay one step ahead of your opponent. Once you think you've reigned in a version of History which suits your needs, you can Collapse the Timeline. When you do, the Timeline cards will resolve one after another, as you've arranged them - but not before your opponent gets one last move!

A Chess-like Pace, defined by the pendulum swing of move and counter-move, is paired with Poker-like Bluffing, as you try to read your opponent to guess how many moves they need to succeed. Eventually, you'll need to lay it on the line, and take your odds. Will you have stacked the deck enough in your favor?
Gameplay allows players to move cards from the bottom to the top of their deck swiftly, cycling back in the cards they need and ejecting the cards polluting their deck. But since what your enemy is giving up ends up in your deck, sometimes you've just gotta squeeze those lemons and make lemonade. Cleverly application of a card may be what rips victory from the jaws of defeat.

Innovative Reward System
I've already completed Core Set: Humanity. Since we're using a genius print-on-demand service, your reward will be sent out to you immediately following the end of a successful campaign.
But wait, if Core Set: Humanity is finished, then what is the money for?
For the next cycle of cards! We want to make more Core Sets and lots of Expansions. So, to prove we can finish a project, we did. You're not just helping us create a game, you're helping us build the foundation for a gaming legacy!

Personalized Rewards
Along with gift packs, you can also get a unique copy of the game with a picture you provide for the card Giant Celebration, which is a great way to commemorate a cherished memory.

Retailer Exclusives
If you're a retailer, you can get Deluxe Editions of Core Set: Humanity for your shelves, imprinted with your company's logo both on the box and inside the game, and individually numbered for a unique gaming product. Since the Deluxe Edition comes in a big box suitable for a complete Time Wars: Supreme Command collection, even customers who pledged to our Kickstarter will be breaking down your door for your products. You'll also get Infinity Pack: Humanity on your shelf sooner than anyone else.

What's so Deluxe About the Deluxe Edition?
Not only is the Deluxe Edition packaged in a gorgeous shelfworthy box that is sturdy and travels well, but it also comes with three Infinity Packs: Humanity, long before they are available to the public.

Pleased to Meet You
I'm a weirdo! I'm a disabled gay trans Muslim American... so that's a whole bunch of things. I love Canadian Football, I'm convinced Darth Vader could beat Magneto in a fight, and I'm in love with my goofball family.

Risks and challenges
We tried to innovate a more reliable reward system. Core Set: Humanity is complete. We're using it as a reward for the Kickstarter, and we're using the funds we raise to create the next cycle of cards, which includes Core Set: Vampirekind and Deluxe Expansion: Z-Armor War.
Since our products use an innovative print-on-demand service, we only need to raise money for commissioning of artwork and playtesting. Your pledge covers the cost of your reward, which will be put into production as soon as the campaign completes successfully. The remainder will go towards the development of even more cards to enrich your experience.
The biggest risk is that we won't meet our goal. I've already proven that I can see a project to completion, and now I just need the opportunity to keep at it.
