Hello everyone, welcome our latest Kickstarter!
When I saw the artwork of CP_New Skin, created by American artist Dave Keenan, I instantly fell in love with it and just knew I wanted to have it made into a bust! Thankfully, Dave kindly agreed and let us use his artwork as inspiration for Ouroboros Miniatures' very first bust.
Dave is a very talented artist whose work just amazes me and hopefully we can do more work inspired by his art in the near future!
If you want to check out more of Dave's work then please visit his Artstation page here;
Besides knowing I would love seeing CP_New Skin as a bust I also immediately knew who I wanted to create it! And that was Edgar Marocsek! A very talented sculptor from Romania. He specializes in highly realistic digital art and I had been following his work for quite a while, waiting to find something that suited his skills. That was CP_New Skin and he jumped on the project, delivering a piece that has become an absolute beauty!

Here you can see the various phases of the CP_New Skin bust. She is roughly 100mm tall, giving you plenty of space to work your magic with the paintbrush!
The resin cast
Shipping will be charged during the Kickstarter and is €10,- for all pledges. It includes tracking, signed for delivery and insurance.
While we've set the date for delivery in April, we think this could actually be March. The reason we've set the delivery a little later is because we rather calculate some room for error than overpromise and deliver late!
The company who handles our shipping proved he does a good job with our last four Kickstarters and shipping in general. We have every faith we can deliver on time once again. We don't think there will be a delay in packages going out to backers but would just like to add that delays can happen. Once the shipping company has your parcels it is out of our control. However we will do everything possible again to fulfill this Kickstarter on time.
Please note that we are not responsible for any customs or other fees that might occur.
As always there are a few people I want to thank! The following people who's help and hard work has made it possible to do this campaign!

Risks and challenges
The bust has already been sculpted, printed and the master is at the caster. Depending on how many we need, I don't think the casting will take more than 4-6 weeks. Once we receive them then it is in our hands. Out of experience, packaging won't take long and we have a reliable shipping company who does the distribution. This gives us good confidence that we will be able to deliver well within the set delivery estimate!
This is our fifth campaign and the prior Kickstarters were all shipped ahead of the estimated delivery times! Therefor we have great confidence that we can deliver yet another successful project to you, our backers!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
