Last day(s) updates!
Unlocked stretch goals!
Welcome to our third Kickstarter campaign called Bloodpeak Barbarians! I am a big fan of barbarians, artwork created by great artists such as Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo and many more and I have always loved the esthetic that barbarians portray. Many years ago a company named Ilyad Games released a group of miniatures called the Vorag barbarians, sculpted by some of my favorite sculptors of all time! Allan Carrasco, Thomas David and Jacques-Alexandre Gillois. It was really sad when Ilyad Games went under and these beautiful miniatures got lost to the public.
I have always wanted to do a range of barbarian miniatures in 54mm scale and felt that making it a homage to those great miniatures and sculptors would be really cool. We took certain elements and gave it our own touch, updating it a bit so to say. Making sure they weren't direct copies of course but giving people that feel that the Vorags had. I think we have succeeded in that. We have created a new range which should be exiting for both painters and collectors to have a go at!
The campaign is about three miniatures this time. The King and his Queen. And the third one, their son, comes in the form of a stretch goal.
All are sculpted by the very talented Olivier Bouchet in 54mm scale. They are cast in high quality resin as always by the renowed Grx Créations.
Producing high quality large scale resin miniatures is expensive and with your help we can again make sure that we can release them faster than if we would have done so in the old fashioned way.
Once again we have chosen to do another small and easy campaign to make sure we can get these out to you as soon as possible. The sculpts are finished and in the hands of the caster. Better yet, they are taking their silicone baths as we speak! Here are the King and Queen in all their glory!
The mighty and brutal Bloodpeak King!
The wise and deadly Bloodpeak Queen!
Little Bam Bam?????!!!!!
Edit: someone pointed out that the king was much too short compared to the Queen. On the pics where they are shown together that might look that way due to my photoshop skills!
Here is a comparison of them all together! The King is roughly 68 mm to the top of its head! ;)
Shipping will be charged during the Kickstarter and costs are as follows:
Bloodpeak Queen €5,-
Bloodpeak King €5,-
Bloodpeak Combo pack €10,-
The company who handles our shipping proved he does a good job with our last Kickstarters and shipping in general so we have every faith we can deliver on time once again. We don't think there will be a delay in packages going out to backers but would just like to add that delays can happen. Once the shipping company has your parcels it is out of our control. However we will do everything possible again to fulfill this Kickstarter on time.
Please note that we are not responsible for any customs or other fees that might occur.
Ouroboros Miniatures catalogue
Quite some people have asked us if they can get the miniatures from our previous campaigns through here. Normally we would give that option through the surveys once the Kickstarter is over but to try and reach the stretch goals from this campaign, we will make them available here right now!
If you would like one or more miniatures from our Fey or Ouroboros Tales ranges then simply add the corresponding amount to your existing pledge.
For the combo pledges there is no need to add any extra shipping. For the other tiers please add €2,- per miniature, up to a maximum of €5,- (€5,- plus the original €5,- for shipping costs is enough to cover shipping)
As always there are a few people I want to thank! The following people who's help and hard work has made it possible to do this campaign!
Luke Wilson and Figure Painter Magazine
Franck Graneix /Grx Créations
And of course my family for supporting me in everything I do!
Sharing & Social Media!
One last thing which is very important! If you want to help us fund then please take a moment to share the project! You can do this by sharing the campaign on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, your blog, forums and on any other Social media you might know! Tell your friends who might be interested and with your help we can make this project as successful as possible, ensuring we can make many more wonderful miniatures in the near future!

Risks and challenges
The miniatures have already been sculpted and the masters have been shipped to our caster. Depending on how many we need, I don't think the casting will take more than 6-8 weeks. After that it is in our hands. Packaging won't take long and we have a reliable shipping company who does the distribution. This gives me confidence that we will be able to deliver well within the set delivery estimate!
This is our third campaign and our first Kickstarter was shipped almost a month earlier then estimated! The 2nd one is in the process of being sent out right now. Therefor we have great confidence that we can deliver another successful project to you, our backers!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
