About

This is the second and a half try at this project. While never giving up on pursuing the idea of funding this project. We certainly can admit the art work was not up to par, or inline with what troubled young would respond to. While it has taken sometime, we think we found the right artist for this to be a successful project.
This time for every pack bought, we will donate 1 pack to a juvenile detention center.

Are goal is to sell 250 cards and send 250 to trouble kids. Here is some of the updated work in progress.

If we get close to 1250 sales at $8 for 2 packs, and that covers all the random pop up fees, print setup fees, shipping, etc. and a pack goes to trouble youth. We will add new rewards if we start getting close to the funding goal. If you are a School(teacher), Church, etc... and want a larger order please contact via message.

Here is a sample of the updated design we have went with and will be updating the progress of the art as it is finished. We are going to go for a harder more realistic look for the adult inmates we want to help.

Below is the first project and it's description which still holds true now as our goals stay the same and we have contacted several psychiatrists/criminologist . If you made it this far I also have another socially positive kickstarter Live Click Here called Ear of the Saints, but Please do read on.

Earlier this year(2004) my buddy and I were playing cards and I thought, said what heck is a Jack supossed to be? a Jester, the prince, or what? And while on the Subject why do we still have Kings and Queens represented on cards it seems pretty out dated.

With that Idea in mind and the Idea of How Positive Repetitive Influence can Re-Wire Brains and does have a positive influence on certain parts of society such as kids and groups that play cards on a daily basis such as Inmates.

My Friend and I thought this was a great idea, so we started a Business that has Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business status as he is disabled and by starting several little projects at once and some health problems soon we ran our projects out of funds, not that we had much to start. Then we heard of kickstater and hope we find a fit here to complete this project.

We are ready to have our cards printed as we had a few quotes. We plan on using the highest quality cards, printed on Q1 on 325 embossed finish paper. We wanted the best to represent the the Great people in these professions.

All the money initially goes directly to having these decks printed, delivered and a expert review of the positive effects this deck could have on people which is also in the works. Also we plan on giving some decks to the local juvenile centers in our county and the local V.A. hospital.

Also if you’re on the line to fund this project, please read on. This project might not be as fun or cool as alot of stuff out there, but it came out of the idea that how every little bit helps, that the idea of the cards says to Children that these are some of the people to look up to and possible strive to be. Not that if "cards" would do that alone, but with other positive influence, and the more the better in this day and age. What is a regular English deck doing?

With Inmates and Prisoner who we also had in mind when decided who could benefit from such an Idea. For them it's another message that society doesn't want them to be criminals. Why should the Guilty get to escape reality while enjoying a game of cards with and English deck. Even if had little or no positive effect on and inmate, it's still a constant reminder that Crime Don't Pay in the USA, printed on the back of every card.

If this project reaches it goal, then we would like to focus on getting this deck into the hands of as many inmates and incarcerated juveniles. So you will be funding Solid idea with the intent to do something "good" for society however small.

There are 1,315 County Juvenile Detention Centers in America serving 3,210 counties. On any given day they are holding for trial or incarceration for a year or less at least 15,000 children and young adults 17 years of age or younger.

So we will send one pack to the largest detention center in America, the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center

THANK YOU and God Bless America

Risks and challenges

The risk seems low as cards are ready to be printed also to meet the deadline I added time incase of any hiccups, so the cards COULD be a done a lil ahead of time, is what I said last time, which is true. But there is a real chance this will not be funded so you can feel safe that at least you will get you funding back.
