Fire Engine Red is an action filled adventure about “Red,” a young, funny, female firefighter who inadvertently finds herself faced with life or death decisions while trying to navigate her challenging romantic relationship. A compelling heroine wrestling with hard choices, she stumbles across a kidnaping, in the middle of a forest fire. "Red" must risk everything to do what is right : rescue the hostage and take down the armed mercenaries.
Inspired by 80s and 90s action movies, for our comic book we pay tribute with stunning variant covers by truly amazing talent. These covers reimagine many classic action movie posters with "Red" and her supporting cast of characters in place of stars like Schwarzenegger, Stallone or Van Damme. The main cover for the book is by series artist, John Delaney, and pays homage to DIE HARD. Selecting any reward tier that offers a variant cover allows you to choose which one you would like to receive. After making your pledge, check your inbox for an email from us asking you which variant cover you would like to own.
With intense fight scenes, dastardly villains, charming sidekicks and a few cheesy one-liners, this first book in the series is sure to please. Our comic is for mature audiences. If it were a movie it would be rated "R"... for Radical. Check out the awesome artwork by our guest artists below and get yourself a copy of our wicked comic!
