ShockSorb: The world's best vibration dampener for tennis rackets
Shocksorb racket dampener benefits and testimonials from blind tests and research:
1. Patented shock absorbent and vibration isolating material used in space shuttles and guns(recoil pads).
2. Reduced most of the testers arm(wrist and tennis elbow) and shoulder pain from shock and vibrations. Even when they were using full polyester strings.
3. Distinct satisfying pop! (Not the dead feel of traditional dampeners.. bleh..)
4. Does not tear in the middle (tear-proof core)
5. Blind testers claimed that they feel like the ball stays on the strings longer giving them more control
6. Simple and classical design
7. Easy to install and uninstall
8.Outer shell makes it far more resistant from dampener from falling off
Those of you who know my YouTube channel know how sincere and honest I am with all of my knowledge and experience.
Why did we start making this dampener?
My shoulder is super sensitive because of an injury I had when I was on the professional tour. I had 3 rotator cuff tears with partial labrum tear in my shoulder. I love testing strings and rackets but every time I do my shoulder starts acting up. Since the pain only reoccurred when I used different rackets and strings(polyester) other than mine, it must have been the different frequency of the vibrations and the impact that was irritating my shoulder.
To test my shoulder pain, I started searching for a materials that can absorb and or isolate the shocks and vibration. While I was searching, I came across the perfect material to make a dampener. I didn't know what to expect so I had to test it. I started testing with the material and quickly realized that the material is so soft it wasn't durable enough to last. But after over 2 years of research and testing we finally have a design that is not too far off from the classic dampener but was still able to make it revolutionary to change how a dampener feels and plays. I was so convinced from the tests that this dampener can help many players around the world to help relieve some pain from the "bad" vibrations from the string and the racket. Not only did the dampener feel amazing but it had a huge satisfying "pop" noise when the ball was struck. I had people test it around me and they instantly fell in love with the dampener. I didn't want a biased opinion so we did multiple blind tests with people I've never met and was run by a third party. Testers were raving about the feel, noise, and how much it helped with their arm pain. It sounds skeptical I know but we believe in the dampener so much I just hope you give this dampener a try and feel what we feel when we play with this dampener.
Took more than 2 years of development with our partnering company to get the design right, making it tear-proof without popping out on impact and most importantly making it feel like no other dampeners out on the market while being able to dampen the shock. We know that you'll love the dampener as much as we do and if you're having arm pain it's a no-brainer when the cost of the dampener is a fraction of the cost of a brace or an arm sleeve.
Sorbothane is a proprietary, visco-elastic polymer. Sorbothane® is a thermoset, polyether-based, polyurethane material. In addition to being visco-elastic, Sorbothane® also has a very high damping coefficient. Sorbothane® combines shock absorption, good memory, vibration isolation and vibration damping characteristics. While many materials exhibit one of these characteristics, Sorbothane® combines all of them in a stable material with a long fatigue life. Sorbothane® has a low creep rate compared to other polymers (rubber, neoprene, silicone, etc.)
Sorbothane® has a superior damping coefficient, over a very wide temperature range, compared to any other polymer. Sorbothane’s operating temperature range is -20° to +160° Fahrenheit (-29° to 72° Celsius). Unlike fluid-based shock absorbers or foam products, Sorbothane® absorbs shocks efficiently for millions of cycles. Sorbothane® eliminates the need for metal springs to return the system to its equilibrium position after absorbing a shock.

Sorbothane has many industrial applications, from acoustic shielding to machine mounts. Sorbothane has been used by NASA to isolate vibration, in the Air Force Memorial, and to transport the Liberty Bell. Because of its unique ability to dramatically diminish shock waves and maintain its shape under stress, Sorbothane has shown promise in the treatment of lateral epicondylitis, also known as tennis elbow, and medial epicondylitis, or golfer's elbow.

Racket: Customized Head Radical MP / Strings: Head Lynx / Tension: 46/44 lbs
Racket: Wilson RF97 / Strings: Luxilon Alu Power and Isospeed hybrid / Tension: 48/46
Feedback: Felt that the unnecessary vibrations were eliminated. Arm felt very comfortable when serving with the dampener.
Male / Level: Started playing tennis again after 20 year break / Age: Late 40's /
Racket: 2018 Head Speed MP / Strings: Head Lynx / Tension: 50/48
Comment: Has had a shoulder surgery and changes racket frequently to find comfortable racket. Plays flat on both sides. The sound made from the dampener felt like he was hitting massive. Definitely felt less vibrations and felt less fatigue in the arms.
Male / Level: Intermediate / Experience: 2 1/2 years / Age: Late 30's / Injury: None

Racket: Head Graphene 360 Speed MP / Strings: RPM Blast / Tension: 44/42
Comment: More snug on the strings compared to other button type dampeners. Plays really aggressive and pain when hitting but no pain at all when using dampener. Vibrations dampening were drastically improved. Felt like the ball was held better on strings. Massive pop and feel from the hits. Felt like more beneficial for hard hitters like him.
All testers strongly recommended the dampener for players that have arm or shoulder pain. Amazed that they felt less vibrations than the traditional dampeners without sacrificing clean sound and feel. Most have agreed that their arm felt better than having a brace or a sleeve on to protect their injury. The multiple tests run by Road to Pro, Inc. were not included in this test for unbiased review of the dampener. The test director and the testers were not payed nor are they affiliated in any way to Road to Pro, Inc.
