LaBute's latest Broadway hit reveals just how scared we are to look into the mirror and discover how much the truth really hurts.
We are a group of student artists who have come together to collaborate on this controversial and challenging piece of theater. This is our LAST project before we enter the world of higher education in the fall. There is nothing we would rather do at this time than put on a play :)
Putting on a show is expensive. Sad but true. The money you give to this project covers the publisher's rights and theater rental fees necessary to perform in a beautiful and professional space.
This play is an actor and designer's dream. LaBute's writing is honest and gets deep into the roots of our obsession with who we are at the surface.
By supporting THIS project, you are supporting the FUTURE of the theater! We hope you will give generously to this project and share with us the joy and fulfillment we feel when the curtain rises (but we're doing this on a budget so probably no curtain) and suddenly, a new world with complex souls and human hearts is revealed.
