About this project
Adrenaline the Movie - - We have completed 65% of the film and now need to raise the funds required to finish our film that we believe has an important theme and message, HOPE.
Driven to gain everything the world can give him, a drag racers life comes to a screeching halt when he realizes that not all races end at the finish line
The movie is set deep in the heart of motorsports, in the rowdy roots culture of North Carolina, where its people consume horsepower and bleed motor oil.
Racing enthusiast JOSEPH JENKINS (Michael Rosander) an orphaned street racer, struggles to make his way to the top in the dangerous world of high stakes illegal street racing. Joined by his best friend TRACE MALLERY (Myke Holmes) they crank out all-nighters working on the car for that next race.
Joseph’s life is suddenly turned upside down after a near fatal car crash during a street race against JASON SKYNARD (Anthony Reynolds).
With the help of his physical therapist JOSIE RIGSBY (Charlene Amoia) Joseph learns how to adjust to his new circumstances. As Joseph works closely with Josie, he begins to struggle with his heartfelt feelings towards the one girl who will change his life and the physical limitations he has to learn to overcome.
When Joseph finally returns home from the hospital, he is visited by an old racing friend of his father’s, PAUL SHARPE (John Schneider). Paul convinces Joseph that he can not only race again, but that he is going to mentor him. Paul, joined by Trace, leads Joseph on a new journey into the professional world of drag racing.
Joseph now has to face the struggles of coordinating his physical disabilities, against the high speed reaction time required to compete in the sport of drag racing.
Facing incredible adversity, Joseph soon discovers that “it’s not about what you drive, but what drives you”.
We did two music videos with "stand alone" stories to help cross promote the film. The music and lead actors in the music videos will be featured in the movie but all the footage in the videos (story) is separate from the Adrenaline movie.
Through the art of cinema, our goal is not only tell a story that captures the excitement and thrill of racing, but also to create a timeless message that stirs hearts, fuels conversations, and restores hope. Adrenaline is that story. Our hope is to take you on a journey to show you the extremes that some will go to for that need to feel alive. We have teamed up with a huge family of professional racers, with a different mindset and a deeper purpose than just a thrill. We believe that change happens when people come together with passion and purpose and through collaboration, make a difference. We hope for the opportunity to do that with your help. Together we can cross the finish line.
How You Can Participate
Tell Your Friends, Tell Your Neighbors, and EVERYONE you know! Every little bit helps, even if it's just passing this link to our Kickstarter campaign on to your friends, and encouraging them to check out our Kickstarter page. We can reach more than just those who like drag racing- bumper dragging -nitrous injected- tire annihilating- muscle-machines! Email them, tweet it, blog about it, talk about it, share it on Facebook, tumblr, google+, pinterest, instagram - everywhere! The more clicks we get, the more folks will see our campaign and the more funds we'll raise to finish the film. Kickstarter is all or nothing, so if we don’t reach our goal, no one may ever get to see this movie.

Notes & Disclaimers
All events in the Perks (such as the cast and crew screening, dinner, meeting with cast and crew, and the private screening) will take place in Wilmington, NC. Unfortunately, transportation and lodging cannot be provided by us. We hope you can make it! However, if you become an Associate Producer, Co-Producer, or Executive Producer, and cannot make the cast and crew screening, we will provide two tickets for the film festival screening of "Adrenaline" that is located nearest to you.
Every single contribution over US$10 receives the "Adrenaline" Special Feature Digital Download Package. To be clear, this does not contain the feature film, but it does include digital downloads of the following: film stills, the poster, the main title theme song from the original film score, and the official film trailer. Unless you prefer to stay anonymous, every contributor will have their name added to our donor wall on our website. The DVDs and BLU-RAYS will not be available until after our initial festival run. All other perks will be sent to you by mail or internet. If you receive a "special thanks" or any producer credit, the credit will be added to the film and submitted to IMDB. Our full intent is to complete this film. We've come too far already not to finish! The only question now is - how far can we distribute this message of HOPE to the world with your support?
Feel free to send us a message through this Kickstarter page if you have any questions.

Risks and challenges
Making a film can be difficult and there are always going to be challenges along the way. We feel that since we have a majority of the film already “in the can” we can reduce the risks of not be able to finish. First, there is always going to be the challenge of weather. Since we are filming a large portion on the movie outdoors during “hurricane season”, weather can present challenges. This will always be a real risk for NC filmmakers and we are no exception to this risk.
Then, there is the challenge of getting our remaining schedule to work for the cast, crew, cars and equipment. Since we are using name talent for our cast, who work all the time, cast’s schedules can be a real challenge. This is one reason we chose to do Kickstarter, to raise the remainder of money needed and get the name talent wrapped. As for crew, we live in a major film community in Wilmington, NC and talented crew members happen to be plentiful for our production. As for the cars and equipment, we as a production company own the hero cars and camera equipment needed for the movie so, aside from mechanical failure, this risk has been reduced. Last, there is distribution and getting the movie out to market. This is a huge part of the risk in making a movie.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
