Ever need more peace and beauty in your life? A moment to pause? A little extra inspiration or strength to make it through the day?
Yeah, me too.
I mean, no complaints, life is pretty darn good. You're starting to nail this adulting thing. Some days. (I went floating in the lake this summer in a giant rubber ducky. That counts as adulting, right?)
And then other days: we’ll just pretend that never happened, OK?
Those are the days you've learned that you want to take better care of yourself. Go for a run, hit the yoga studio, call your mom, hide in the bathroom, meditate, grab a drink with a friend, or delight in ordering pizza for the family to give yourself a break. Or maybe you only dream of these things.
Let's make sure you get those two extra deep breaths you need in your day.
Introducing my art & inspiration collection, Inspiring Stillness.
A calming collection of 52 meditative photographs
Titles of each image appear on the flip side. Provocative, inspiring, & soothing titles that reflect the impression of each image, and can help guide your day.
Peace. Passion. Courage. Calm. Clarity.
Just a few of the pieces included in this Collection. Take what you need. Seek what you want. Or let the art choose you.
With each calming Collection, you'll get:
- 52 original, meditative photographs of nature
- Inspirational titles on the reverse of each piece
- A few extra deep breaths in your day
- A convenient tin box to protect the collection
- Beautiful, minimalist design
Take a moment in your day to pause. Reflect. Breathe.
This calming collection is perfect to support your meditation practice, even when you have to sneak a moment in your car (while parked, please).
Unlike most photographers, I strive for movement when I click the shutter. This blurs the details and creates the dreamy images you see, while intensifying the colors.
Sunsets on the lake while making these photographs are a near-daily ritual for me (and my dog, Teddy Bear). It provides a brief retreat, offering rhythm and sanity to my day.
I hope you can find the same with the Inspiring Stillness Collection.
You may be wondering how to use the collection into your life. Here are some ideas:
- Focus during your meditation practice
- Set your intention for the day
- Keep one in your yoga mat
- Carry a physical reminder to pause & reflect
- Tuck a few in your bag to remind you to take a deep breath
- Discover what the universe has in store for you today
- Take a 60 second break to contemplate and breathe
- Stick one on your mirror for instant smiles
- Create a vision board for your upcoming month
- Offer some solace to those in healthcare environments
- Perform random acts of kindness & beauty
- Sneak one into your partner’s bag
- Enclose in surprise snail mail for your best friend
- Make someone’s day
- Distract marauding bears (this probably won’t work)
Set your intention, meditate, reflect, soothe.

I want my art to inspire and bring peace to more people. It’s fabulous. You should see it. I would love your support for this Kickstarter. Funding through Kickstarter will allow me to order in larger quantities, which helps keep the cost per collection low enough to get this idea into the world.
UPDATE: If you missed the Kickstarter, you can still get in on the collection
Nearly all of my rewards are self-explanatory. They start at $1 (I high-five my dog in your name), and for a mere $5 you get a single card of your own.
All rewards at $34 and up include one or more collection(s), each consisting of 52 images contained in their own convenient tin box!
One level ($125) includes a print of Peace, one of my most popular images.
This image will be printed & signed by yours truly. The image itself will measure 10 inches across (about 25 cm). I use Velvet Fine Art paper which has a textured surface that enhances the painterly feel of my work.
Please make this small step with me. You’re ready for more inspiration and beauty in your life, right? (If you’re maxed out, please tell me your secret. Like seriously).
Post-Kickstarter, the full Collection is still available here
Risks and challenges
Timing is the largest risk. I am confident that I will be able to complete and deliver the Collections as described, having ordered multiple prototypes in preparing for the launch. However, large quantity printing is more subject to uncertainty in timing.
I'm going to try my best and put my assistant, Teddy Bear, on overtime to pack out everything and get it to you as soon as possible.
A highly successful Kickstarter involving larger than expected order quantities could be challenging. There may be pizza parties in my garage if anyone wants to help me pack & ship. If Teddy doesn't eat your pizza first.
Those of you overseas know, international shipping is risky from a timing perspective. Please have patience and expect that International shipments may arrive later than US orders.
All international (non-US) customers assume responsibility for any and all customs, import charges, duties, etc.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
