I am creating a printable PDF collection of paper dolls of Yva Starling: Troubleshooter, an original comic character created by Ronda Pattison and Brian Roe. Take up your safety scissors and feel like a kid again with this not-so-traditional take on a classic toy!
Yva Starling lives in a universe where efficient interstellar travel has allowed humanity to pour outwards from earth to explore and colonize new worlds. On this vast new frontier, governing body The United Trade Commonwealth has only so many operatives to go around. This has necessitated the creation of the Troubleshooters, adventurous women and men who act as bounty hunters, bodyguards, and private detectives within the sanction of the UTC.
Yva's constant travel between worlds exposes her to ever changing conditions, cultures, and climates, and she needs the wardrobe to match! Cut out the clothes; mix and match pieces to create your own unique look, and dress Yva for her next action-filled adventure! Or just keep as a fun fashion collectible!
Each Version Beta PDF includes an Yva doll, approximately 9" in height, and ten original outfits designed, drawn, and colored by Ronda Pattison. The doll is drawn by Ryan Howe, and the PDF is designed by Brian Roe. The PDF also includes fun facts about the whys and wheres of each outfit, that help expand the Yva universe.
If we exceed our funding goal, every pledge will also receive the following:
$1400- an Alpha version doll and former convention exclusive Indy Pop Con racing uniform.
$1500- an Alpha version doll and former convention exclusive Lexington ComicCon jockey uniform.
$1600- an Alpha version doll and former convention exclusive Gen Con Dungeons and Dragons inspired costume.
$1700- an Alpha version doll and a previously unreleased dressage riding outfit.

Risks and challenges
By keeping the campaign limited to digital delivery, I feel we're keeping risks to a minimum. The challenge will simply be to finish the paper doll collection in a timely manner, however, with one under my belt already, I'm confident in the process. All outfits for Version Beta have been conceived and researched, and just need to be executed. And, as a comics professional, I have been meeting deadlines for 20 years.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
