Two weeks to go! So have a new demo!
In order to celebrate our "We only have 14 days until the Kickstarter
ends, and we still haven't met our minimum goal" anniversary, here's a
new demo! (wait...how is it an anniversary?)
Whereas the first demo was designed to show potential backers what the game would look like when using roughly 95% completed resources (sans music), this demo is designed to show potential backers what the game looks like with all of it's incomplete resources intact. What does that mean? Well, this demo contains not just sprites, but event CGs, special effects and music.
The sprites are finalized
The event CGs are all cheap-y place-holders
The backgrounds are all cheap-y place-holders
The music is royalty-free place-holders
We actually had to burn through the last of our budget just to get the music tracks. But, we think music is an absolutely necessary aspect of imparting the cinematic feel we're shooting for.
The content is somewhat violent, so be forewarned. It also represents the actual beginning of the game and is designed to "hook" readers...which probably explains the violence.
Anyway, same as before, there are three demos: one for PC, one for Mac and one for Linux. All three have the same content. Links are below. There will also be download buttons placed on the Kickstarter's front page, just under the "UPDATES".
